Another siren upload! This time, it is a Federal Signal PA500 siren used by the California Highway Patrol for Siren Mastery. My knowledge of American sirens is limited but I believe this siren is used by the Motorcycle units and Commercial Enforcement (the white slick tops) Still awesome to use on your every day CHP vehicles! This pack contains Wail and Yelp and I've also thrown in a optional horn from one of my previous releases which was another Federal Signal siren (Federal Signal Smart Siren SS2000 to be precise) which fits in quite well. If you like to keep things legit this horn is of course totally optional. As with all my Siren Mastery releases I add a slight echo to the tones to make it sound authentic. Sample: Enjoy!

I'll see what I can do! Had a quick try but it was a little tricky getting that high pitch at the very extended for a long period of time without it sounding weird. The person in the video didn't really hold it for very long which makes things hard. I'll have a little play with it again in the coming days and see if I can get something working. Until then, I'm about to update the siren with an added 'HiLo' if that interests you at all :)- 34 comments

I can easily grab the longest point of when he holds manual in the video (around 33 seconds) and edit it so you have the tone and then it'll hold that highest pitch (so just before he releases the button in the video) for like 10 seconds, and nothing for about 10 seconds afterwards so it's doesn't loop over and over so you can easily imitate the function. Is that sort of what you're after? I had the exact same issue when creating and attempting to test the siren. Siren Mastery crashes when loading? It means your Siren Mastery is out of date. Update it and it'll work :)

26.31Mbps down 1.02Mbps up over here (Telstra Cable) I did have ADSL2+ which was fucking horrendous but I upgraded to Cable earlier this year

I LOVE those VF's! I have Crown Vic's (I absolutely love them, wish I could import one to Australia), Impala's and Ford Police Interceptors with LAPD liveries in my game as I like to keep it 'real' but I'm praying that one VF isn't just an unmarked one but a civilian model. I might make a special exception for an Australian car in my game ;) And sorry for the shameless plug but it's kind of on topic. Made some Victoria Police style backgrounds for Computer+ which kind of fit here

I'll look into doing a UI when I get time. Never done UI for Siren Mastery but I'll give it a shot and see how it goes!

They are about 15 minutes away from me (Yeah, there seems to be a LOT of PC shops near me) so it was not distance. Long story short, I went in with the faulty product and they said I need to call the manufacturer and get the RMA number myself and then come back to return it which violates consumer law. They are supposed to handle all that sort of stuff.

I prefer realistic but I have a mix of LSPD/LAPD liveries mainly due to the fact that the logos are nearly identical

I recently finished a build in which about 90% of my parts came from PCCG purely because I've dealt with them for returns. Which was lucky, as my PSU had coil whine which they refunded me for. I ended up getting LED light strips from Scorptec though as they were the only shop that had some decent magnetic ones.It's around the corner from PCCG though (I'm in VIC, 20 minutes or so away from both) which makes things easy. You made a good choice going with PCCG though. Especially if you're spending big bucks. MSY are a pain. I've had to return stuff to them and boy oh boy, did they make it painful. Never again.

A must have in my opinion is LSPDFR+ It requires Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager but they are equally as awesome (and useful)

Here is my Federal Signal Smart Siren SS2000! This is the same siren used by the LAPD and NYPD among other many other departments throughout the United States. This pack contains a Wail, Yelp, Priority and Horn all of which can be heard in the video below (with an added Hi/Lo for the Siren Mastery version!) Full install instructions are included for both the Siren Mastery and traditional install methods. Unfortunately due to the vehicles.awc limit being 15.7mb I had to remove '0x17E9AF5D' which is a train passing sound. This will only affect you if you are using the traditional method of install. Siren Mastery only method will not mute this sound. I did try to compress the siren as much as I could without compromising quality, but I couldn't push it below the limit. You've probably never heard the sound I muted in-game before and won't notice it's gone and lets face it, it's worth it for this awesome siren, right?! Love the mod! Works great for the most part. But does it happen to change anything in regards to the stock sirens and files? I attempted to change my siren (not using sirenmastery as I only use that for CHP Vehicles so they can have a genuine siren different to my LAPD one) but what happens is when ever I use a siren (again, not using SM) I appear to have my old siren, whereas NPC's all have the new siren I have installed. If I remove or disable SM, the siren works perfectly as the NEW siren. If I enable SM again, my OLD siren comes back. Keeping in mind, this police vehicle is NOT in the 'VehicleSirenSetup.xml' file. I have absolutely no idea where it's even getting the old siren sounds from to begin with considering it was in vehicles.awc which I overwritten with the new siren. Second question - when ever I attempt to add my own .WAV files from a siren I created I get a SirenMastery crash on loading. If I remove them and add some I've grabbed off LSPDFR.com, all is well. Can they be any old WAV? Any file limits? The largest file of them all is 1.72mb Hoping to get this one sorted so I can release the siren on LSPDFR.com Great work though, seems to work great otherwise!

Oh really? I wonder what VicPol use then. Awesome siren none the less. Were you using a firefighter mod for LSPDFR in one of the videos by any chance? My Dad's actually in the CFA so I might show him it (if such a mod exists!)- 14 comments
