  1. (main problems are in red) I recently upgraded to Windows 10 (absolutely hate it), and I used to have Windows 8.1. I went through a huge battle trying to get GTA 4 working again with Windows 10, and LCPDFR mostly works. There are a couple big things that I want fixed ASAP. Ever since I got Windows 10, LCPDFR won't create any save files. It would say it's saving in the log, but everytime it crashes, the game doesn't bring up the LCPDFR error reporter, and it doesn't make an oldsession.fr file in the EFLC directory. Before with Windows 8.1, when the game crashes, it says Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working, and the LCPDFR error reporter comes up right away and says something like, "restoring last session". Then, when I restart the game, it spawns me right back to where I was before it crashed. I loved that feature since GTA 4 would crash so often. A file called oldsession.fr would appear in the EFLC directory which respawns all of my stuff that I had before I crashed. If I didn't want to reload my last session, I would delete oldsession.fr. Now that I have Windows 10, LCPDFR never creates and "oldsession.fr" file again. LCPDFR Error Reporter doesn't show up when I crash at either. Another problem that I am experiencing is, I can't link my LCPDFR account to the website anymore. I try going into the LCPDFR diagnostics tool, and it would always say something link "could not build trust relationship with server" or something stupid like that. I want to link it because the website keeps track of all of my data and I would like me and others to see it. I got Windows 10 in late August, and to this day I can't fix either of these problems. Please help me. -M67v
  2. I'm back after so much busy work! The San Diego pack is getting an update to fix texture related issues, it will use better models of lighting equipment and cars, it will add the SDPD Crown Victoria with the Vista lightbar, and will likely include a SDSO Crown Vic with a Vision lightbar. If you guys want a SDSO 2012+ Caprice, then you I need you guys to help and cooperate by either giving me a Caprice, or getting someone else to give me a Caprice (not that I'm begging of course). I will also add an SDPD Tahoe with the Vista lightbar as well. The NYPD Ford Police Interceptor pack is taking another step back due to the overwhelming amount of problems with the models :(. I'm sorry that it is taking forever, but it wouldn't be fair if one car pack holds back all of my other projects. Speaking of other projects, I am currently working on a California Highway Patrol pack with about 10 different accurate light patterns on the actual CHP car. I am also working on a Pennsylvania State Police pack.
  3. Fair enough. *electricity Tesla superchargers (which refill half the battery in 30 minutes) are absolutely free of charge, and they are quite common in California. When officers are on a lunch break, this will be a perfect time to charge the car since lunch breaks aren't short. In the near future, Tesla will have battery swap stations that can replace a dead battery with a fully charger battery in 90 seconds (but they won't be free).
  4. Teslas actually have very little maintenance. The only real maintenance on those are airing up tires, and changing windshield washer fluid. In the long run, Tesla actually might be cheaper. Tesla is made out of aluminum which would hold up well to crashes and such, plus the brakes are better than any Crown Vic or FPI. The suspension is very strong on the Model S and plus it doesn't need any power steering coolers. It doesn't use oil, or have a transmission. Tesla and electric cars in general have little maintenance, if any refilling tires or changing windshield washer fluid. Furthermore, Tesla parts aren't that limited and are not as expensive as you would think. Using Altima Hybrids are out of the question since those are phased out not to mention very unstable for heavy-duty police work compared to a Tesla. The reason why NYPD doesn't have many problems with the Altima and Fusion is because they don't have a lot of pursuits in New York. Also, why should LAPD follow NYPD by buying hybrid cars as opposed to electric for their fleet. Hybrid cars just delay the inevitable; gasoline WILL run out eventually. In short, this is not a disgrace at all. If anything, electric police cars make way more sense than gasoline police cars whether or not you want to accept that gasoline cars are obsolete compared to electric and will be no more in less than 100 years. I support renewable fuels for cars.
  5. I want to apologize in advanced for all of the delays for the NYPD Ford Police Interceptor pack. I don't know why, but this pack is being a pain in the ass. Everytime I fix one thing, a new problem occurs. But, it's not fair that one pack (from Hell) delays all of my other WIPs, so please understand that.
  6. With Windows 8, the lcpdfr error reporter would instantly come up and open up my last session. Ever since I got Windows 10, I went through hell just to get EFLC working again, and now the lcpdfr error reporter isn't coming up so I can't load my last session (which is very very frustrating). Please help me. On a side note, the days Microsoft is not making things any better than they were. I want Windows 7 back lol.
  7. Just so we're all on the same page, just because Zmodeler 3 now supports GTA 5 cars, I will not stop making gta 4 mods for a while.

This is a vehicle pack that I've been working on for more than 4 months and went through so many iterations, but now it is finally here. I made this pack because law enforcment cars in San Diego were just not getting that much attention in the GTA modding community. This bundle includes 8 cars. For the SDPD, I have a marked and slicktop Crown Vic, and Ford Police Interceptor Utility, and an undercover Ford Taurus SHO. On the SDSO side of things, there is a Crown Victoria, a Police Interceptor Utility, and a 2010 and 2012 Dodge Charger. This pack will still be open in case anybody finds a problem or something that I could've done better. The screenshots are not taken with an ENB, so the cars will look much better if you have an ENB. Enjoy!

    NYPD

Liking the Altima? I made it.
  10. I got Windows 10 recently. It's very very cool. However, EFLC is now getting stuck on the loading screen. This happened with Windows 8.1 occasionally, but when I open it up again it works properly. Now, with Windows 10, it's not working at all. Somebody please help me.
  11. Nope. Like Black Jesus said, Kygo took his down when he updated his DEV pack. That's why I made it. No problemo. My pleasure.

My first scratch made item. Hope you like it. EDIT: I don't care if you convert to this to V or any other game.
  13. I'm not dead. The base model for the NYPD cars is perfect. I'm just having little issues at this point. As far as the San Diego pack, only tiny things are being fixed, and then it will be released.
  14. Well, I see another 09 with the NYPD Police lettering and a message board. I'm quite suprised that this one was made before the one in your picture, but it has the message board and that one doesn't.
  15. Does anyone know where I can get a Setina Fender Wrap? I know gump made a wrap around, but it's not a fender wrap. I want to know where I can get one so I can make this and other things: (And yes, I already know someone else is working on a Gardena PD pack as well; I wanted to make my own version) Edit I released my own.
  16. Nice model. BTW, does anyone know where I can get the fender wrap around unlocked?
  17. No prob BTW, where did you get the fender wraparound pushbar?
  18. LOL somebody already did. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7756-federal-signal-valor/ Here is my Gardena version. I was actually working on a Gardena pack as well :). Gardena PD Valor.rar

  20. Beautiful. Are these gonna be released? BTW, this is supposed to have the FS Valor light bar.
  21. The San Diego pack is so close to being finished so I'm really checking everything and making sure everything is accurate. I procrastinated on changing the fictional mirror lights on the San Diego Sheriff's Office Ford Police Interceptor Utility with real/accurate Soundoff Intersectors since the model needed work. I finally changed it and the lights are now accurate. Now: Before: The SDPD Crown Vics lightpattern is impossible to mimick since its so complicated, but I did my best to make it look like the real thing. I think it looks good enough for me. I also made the head, tail, and turn signal lights accurate. Furthermore, the parking lights are attached to the headlight module so you don't have to freeze the turn signals to get the parking lights. I did this because many people have the turn signal mod and end up never using since most modders don't attach the parking lights to the headlight model. This is great because now when the headlights are on, you get to use the blinker mod and have parking lights (the turn signals do overlap the parking lights). For example, here is the Crown Vic. This is it with the headlights on. The parking lights are on as you can see. And this is it with the park and turn signal:
