  1. what express mode is not ELS 6 it's ELS 7 without all the button binds
  2. I'd rather have an excursion
  3. tbh I really don't care about that problem I want to get ELS fixed
  4. How do you know what GPU I have, and what makes you think I need to upgrade it? I have two GTX560TI GPUs in SLI. I do not need anything else. That is not where the problem is.
  5. How do you know my computer is slow? That isn't the main point of contention here - its the crashing with ELS.
  6. Right, I've avoided making a thread / post thus far because I have seen how many unintelligent people have posted silly problems. So - ELSv7 works phenomenally. I love it. However, I've started to experience crashing upon initial spawn. I can use ELSv7 perfectly for one round, then when I go back to play two hours later, I crash when I spawn. Replacing ELS.asi with the one from the .rar file fixes the problem for another round. Is the ASI file being edited in some way by the game? I can't see how it would be, but replacing the els.asi file with the one from the download solves the problem every time I have it. Another odd issue, when I start LCPD:FR, when leaving the police station I do not get offered to spawn cars. Instead I spawn in the red circle and have to press ` to move. Then using simple native trainer I try to spawn a car, and it will not spawn. It tells me to check the model. This happens for every car listed in SNT. This has only started occuring since I installed ELSv7. (Yes, I read the guide and figured out how to use ELSv7 before posting this thread.)
  7. from what I saw in the newest video that went through all the patterns, the equivalent of X-01 isn't included...but I could be wrong only the release will tell :) looks like you nailed it!
  8. so we lost the X lighting patterns? I was really looking forward to some of those patterns fixed up a bit :(
  9. Its the systems 9000 not the spectra (source: the lable on the box :V) I have not been able to find any sound for them online.
  10. I lived in Arlington for 17 years and now I live in Fairfax (Reston) I know all the cars around here like the back of my hand i have no life :(
  11. Also missing the rear deck lights. So far I haven't seen any cars with Ford's Visibilty Package offered on the CVPIs. Just take a center brake light housing and place one on either side of the center brake light, and make it blue. Arlington's corner strobes flash in an X pattern as well, so front left strobe would be rear right brake light strobe. The blade is available for dl on google sketchup. Arlington uses 5 forward facing modules and 7 rear facing modules. This is really the best video I think of the car's lighting pattern. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IzqOn9usyI another video that show's lighting patterns quite well
  12. Huzzah! Fellow Arlingtonian! Also, you have no idea how much I love you right now. I wouldn't pay him for it, it would be a donation to EVI for being a badass.
  13. wow this derailed quickly Thanks for the reply. I fixed them all myself, but I didn't know if you noticed the difference...just wanted to point it out. Love your vehicles - use them almost exclusively in my game. I had one suggestion though, and I PM'd it to you a few months back but I never got a response. Perhaps I could turn it into a commission job. Let me know, I can't get anyone else to touch it. It is really hard to find really good modelers who take suggestions, even if you're willing to give them some love in the form of cash monies.
  14. one thing I noticed about your vehicles with blue lights - one half of the lights will be a slightly different hue of blue. don't know if its intentional or not, but its very noticeable to me
  15. can no one work on this? I may even throw in a little stipend :)
  16. Hence whey I posted this as a request :) Sometimes I wonder if people read OPs....
  17. yeah I have those, looking for a modified squad car though
  18. http://www.tomar.com/pdf/Lightbar%20Documentation/Blade/960L-xx-5F7R%20Flash%20Pattern%20Ver%2000%20Appendix%20A1.pdf found the pdf outlining the blade light bar!
  19. Hey all - new to the LCPD:FR community, and I love what you all have done so far. I would try to make the models myself, but I'm just not a modeler. I've done game development for several other large gaming communities, and I'm a manager and a scripter, not a modeler :p. I really wish I had the creative flare that modelers have. It is really a talent, and you all should be extremely proud of what you can do. It will pay dividends in the long run if and when you decide to start a career in digital design. Anyway, back to the point. I know EVI released a squad car a while back, and that is almost perfect, but not quite. The Arlington VA Police squad cars are just a little different, and I'd love to get that different functionality in there. I've noted everything about the ACPD squad cars that I can to aid in the development. If you want to use the FCPD car as a stepping stone - it is identical with the exception of the antenna cluster, front grill lights, and the traffic director that was not included. ACPD cars use the TOMAR Blade light bar, which has an integrated traffic director in the rear. In the front are 5 High-Intensity blue LEDs that flash in a random pattern and two take downs on either end that flash wig-wag. The end caps have lights that alternate front/back according to the random pattern and the alley lights wig-wag. 7 High-Intensity blue LED modules in the rear flash at a random pattern with the front unless the traffic director has been turned on. If so, they light up in a center-out configuration. example: until 0:55 - 1:04 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAG-sDqFycI&t=58s I think this would be a relatively easy thing to do, with the exception of the traffic director in the light bar. You would need to figure out a way to either take over the back half of the light bar when secondary is on...or on second thought, only use the traffic director when the light bar is totally off. Either works I guess. My idea for making center out would be like this: [extra_9] [extra_8] [extra_7] [extra_8] [extra_9] It would only be effective if the user put the secondary setting at scroll right. Otherwise it would just look weird. Also I know there are only 3 extras to choose from, so one set of rear lights would have to get doubled up on. So like, [extra_9] [extra_8] [extra_8] [extra_7] [extra_8] [extra_8] [extra_9] or something. I don't really know, someone would have to make that choice for me. The other thing would be the antenna cluster (1 stubby antenna, one 6 incher, and another stubby one on the roof) and a version with two license plate scanners mounted to the trunk facing outwards (these have four 6 in antennas mounted to the roof in a one foot square pattern to provide data for the scanners). w/out scanner: http://farm6.staticf...a8dd01167_z.jpg w/scanners: http://puu.sh/16tQ6 Again, if anyone would take this up, I would be super omg thankful. I have the skins already, but if you want to make new ones be my guest. I see this as a challenge for you talented folks out there. See if you can get this idea to work!
  20. This is just the ACPD skin. I included the link for his FCPD CVPI because that car is the most like the ACPD cruisers.
  21. Representing Arlington, Virginia and the Pentagon attack, here is the Arlington County Police Department skin pack by EVI. o7
