  2. Its all roleplay, so its just the web. I run a laptop to use it when playing on my PC. Adds a bit of immersion. When you're filling out a report of the guy you just shot, look out the windshield of your car and realise it is no longer night and you've been sitting on paperwork, I feel that is pretty realistic.
  3. Im getting a lot of disregards again with 1.18. It may be my system, as I just threw in LSPD female cops, but after the disregard, the blue circle remains... Not game breaking by any means, just odd that it doesnt despawn. Still I think its one of the best callout scripts I've ever played!

  5. Foot pursuit. Running from the car if possible. Ramming the cruiser to try and disable it before fleeing? Even without those it looks really good. And do you mean that you want the primary to put his gun away before arresting? That seems pretty good since IDEALLY you should be covering him... It is Liberty City though, a place where the medics are more lethal than the murderers. (Off topic, that is going to be my new signature...)

  7. Salt seems to work, but it also has a side effect of hurting like a sonofabitch. Tea bags I heard too... (phrasing?) Also. there is an old wives tale about rubbing a gold ring on it. Tea bag was the best for me (PHRASING!) as it kept pressure on it so it didnt hurt.

  9. I PM'd you the procedure. Also, be cautious double posting, I know they dislike that around here
  10. Most use ELS, so is it possible to have ELS activated for the scripted cop? I mean, I think it would get the fun flowing rolling up code turkey to assist an officer who's already drawn on the car.

  12. Love the idea. I feel like these are one of the most common calls cops get, and its good to have it in the game! Awesome so far!
  13. I edited my post, should have your answer above
  14. I didnt use it at all. Dont know why its there, just use the wft and wtd. You will have to change one of the Firetruk.wft and Firetruk.wtd to something else, like Nstockade or anything. Just go into the handling.dat and copy and paste the whole line into what you switched it to. DEFINITELY make a back up of your handling.dat before you start.
  15. ^this. The issue may be if that keeps reticking... If not, voila!

  17. I assume you did the super easy right click on the file and uncheck read only. Make sure you get all the permissions by right clicking on vehicles.ide and opening properties/security And as for anything, if you have the option to "run as administrator", always do it
  18. You can rename one of your firetruk to something else, just make sure to replace the handling line in the Handling.dat. If you have LCPDFR already, you probably already have the advancedhook.asi. The +livery should be added in notepad, but if its read only, there is something I did a long time ago to unlock it, I just cant remember what it was. Thats not as important anyway, you still get the FDNY livery.

  20. After some trial, it turns out if you are having this problem of no calls generating, just hit F8 (which doesnt do anything the first time) and then f6. It seems to work. So after a call, hit ctrl to clear, then f8 then f6, and bammo, eventually get a call. Odd but functional.
  21. Yup, Im more talking the random calls. I prefer to be surprised.
