    A regular traffic stop resulted in a major shootout a little over midnight, when multiple gunman opened fire on officers, who were already chasing a suspect.
    Suspected gunmen are believed to be gang members. Multiple officers were shot, but after calling in SWAT, LAPD managed to get control of the scene.
    There were reports of at least 8 dead on the scene, including 3 officers.
    The area was closed off for hours for investigations.
