a good cop movie?
I had a thought. We all have the same interests. Why don't we compile a sticky with Cop Movies / Films? Format in categories to help denote whats realistic, whats extremely dramatic like Law & Order, whats generic, etc. Movie / Film: Colors (1988) - R - Los Angeles Police Department End of Watch (2012) - R - Los Angeles Police Department Training Day (2001) - A,D - Los Angeles Police Department Sabotage (2014) - A,D - U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency S.W.A.T. (2003) - R,A - Los Angeles Police Department TV Series: SouthLAnd (2009) Trailer 2 - R - Los Angeles Police Department CHiP's (1977) - R - California Highway Patrol Blue Bloods (2010) - SR,A,D - New York Police Department What I've watched recently. Title links take you to the trailer. Some good ones listed here: http://www.ranker.com/list/all-police-movies-or-list-of-police-movies/all-genre-movies-lists A=Action C=Comedy D=Drama ED=Extreme Drama R=Realistic SR=Semi-Realistic

Testing Model / Paint Texture Without GTA IV Installed?
Thanks for the quick responses. I understand the instructions given. The problem is I don't have the game currently installed (using a smaller older HDD) so I don't have the textures extracted. I'm assuming I need the game installed so I can use OpenIV to extract the textures in a folder like I've seen in the videos and other posts? I was looking for a way so I didn't have to install. But that is the only option I see is installing. I'm starting the install, just don't know if my PC will have a hissy fit limping. lol Thanks.

Testing Model / Paint Texture Without GTA IV Installed?
Is there a way to be able to test paint texture, and models like viewing it in zModeler without having the game installed? If so, how would I do it? I have the game, just my hard drive and ram died. Just waiting on the package. Thanks

Fugitive Recovery Agent
The ONLY option for you is to contact a lawyer. You may have a better results asking a lawyer on AVVO. You're going to need to know what section of the law you're convicted of. It would be on the court docket and the plea agreement. I'm not going to say you guys are after wanting to be like LE. But just to advise you, don't acquire that mentality. Just because you carry a firearm (Non-Felon), cuffs, and have a badge does not mean you're LE (Unless you are actually a peace officer). It will just open drama down the road and give people in the other career fields a bad name (Armed Security, Armor, etc). It sucks to lose ones 2nd Amendment rights. I really feel for those who do, and who have changed their life around. This day and age, you can lose it all very easily. Only time I've seen civilian help out LE. A private security guard (who was driving a CVPI with amber lights) was passing CHP who was on a traffic stop in a bad spot on the freeway. The guard did a traffic break (using his traffic advisor lights), and blocked a lane till other responding units were on scene. The CHP officer was thankful. Other time was when LE was responding and a armed guard was on scene (employed at location) and the cover unit had an extended eta (rural) they both cleared the building. Best of luck.

Computer Trouble
Sounds like you got malware. Adaware was good. I haven't used it recently. Last time I did it was bloated for my P4 machine. It got rid of the malware. But uninstall it once your done or keep it if your PC doesn't have a hissy fit.

Fugitive Recovery Agent
After doing some google fu I found How to become a Bail Bondsman in Pennsylvania I don't know how accurate it is as I'm in California. But it may be a start. I'm not sure if PA requires 'Act 235' cert. Do you know what the felony charge was?

Car Insurance Question
In California you can have the registered owner and additional drivers with separate policies. Having a separate policy only covers the policy holder while driving the insured vehicle. So if you wanted to keep drivers separate to prevent the premiums from going up, yes you may do so. Let it be known trying to 'double dip' a claim is insurance fraud.

CHiPs The movie
Man, I grew up watching CHiP's. Loved that Netflix had the DVD's while it was free. But I'd rather see Michael Pena then Wilmer Valderrama. But not sure he can be that goofy character that is Ponch (he can look too serious). He was good on End of Watch. Which is rumored for a sequel. But don't expect Jake Gyllenhaal. I wonder if the remake will as accurate as the original was. EX: Radio codes, PC/VC, vehicles, lighting, etc. Those little details can make or break a good Cop Show. If you guys have not seen Colors (1988) it's a good one as well SouthLAnd. I miss SouthLAnd.... [Links are trailers]

San Diego County Sheriff Vehicle Textures
Where would I get the ped uniforms? They were not included in this download. This only contained pictures of the ped model and vehicle textures. Good job on the texture. I'm curious why the door emblems are curved? Also, like most California Law Enforcement vehicles the 'County Number' / 'Shop Number' located on the vehicle '20826' the last three numbers '826' would be the roof numbers. The roof numbers are more like a bold jersey font with thick underline. All in all, good start!

[CJ24-REL] San Diego County Sheriff's Department CVPI
How would I set the light bar up? The model has to be edited correct? Or can that be done via the lightmod? The texture is not the problem.

[CJ24-REL] San Diego County Sheriff's Department CVPI
Hello, I would like to request/suggest a model of CVPI. I can make the paint. But I know nothing about modeling. My brain doesn't want to learn stuff like this anymore... The light bar is what I deeply desire. SDSD uses Federal Signal Arjent S2 with Federal Signal Smart Siren controlling it. Thus I would like to replicate it's function in game. Discrip: Lightbar: Federal Signal Arjent S2 Clear Lenses Drivers side red, pass blue 1 module steady burning red per 25252 CVC. S0: Traffic advisor / Manual Siren use S1: AKA Low Output, 1 module steady burning red in the front only, traffic advisor warning (IN OUT), outside 2 modules on either side flashing of the rear. S2: All red and blue's flashing except the 1 module steady burning red, traffic advisor warning (IN OUT). S3: AKA CODE (3) All red and blue's and takedown's flashing, except the 1 module steady burning red, traffic advisor warning (IN OUT). ELS Can control it. Just the solid burning red linked with traffic advisor pattern C4?? See video: San Diego Sheriff Fed Sig Arjent Lightbar Spotlights (driver and passenger side) facing forward for use. Go Rhino push bar. Strobes in the front corners, brake lights, reverse light (blue hue). Antennas. I'd prefer if the CVPI model didn't have extra lights. The lightbar is the goal. PM if compensation is required for picky-ness. SDSD CVPI Front SDSD CVPI Rear Thank you. Thank you a lot CJ, I really appreciate it.
