  1. Adding a few more logs. I know I could use the edit function, but it's been a week now and I still got no answer for my random crashes. It doesn't depend on the time played nor the mods installed, just random. Seemingly it crashes each time after it failed to find an audio file?
  2. Looks good to me, though I'd suggest to make the blue lines of the livery parallel to the windows on the police and police2, to add some dynamism and make the whole thing more harmonious.
  3. I'll just rate it 5 to compensate with the braindead who put 1 for apparently no reason.

  5. Oh alright, thanks for the explanation!
  6. Could anyone explain to me what is actually a MDT/MDC? I live in Europe and I guess we are using a different name for what you're talking about, and I couldn't find a simple description of what it's made for on Google, just a lot of technical terms.
  7. Se7en is a good thriller. EDIT: The Other Guys is also a very good cop comedy, I loved it.
  8. Well, if I read the article well, Daesh sounds like another arabic word which means to trample on/crush, but the word Daesh in itself doesn't mean that exactly. For once I find one of our ministers having a valuable explanation. It's true that they are not a state, and it's true they are not representative of muslims. A lot (a big majority) of muslims are practicing their religion without bothering anyone. Those people calling themselves Islamic State are just like... a bug in the matrix. So, Islamic State isn't a very accurate term. It's as if people against gays were calling themselves Heterosexual State, it's not representative.
  9. My feelings are hurt at the reading of this. I never thought I would ever hear about Australia being targeted by those people, really. Considering how far Australia is from many of those conflicts, I thought it was a rather peaceful country (if I forget about the awful gigantic spiders and insects you have over there *shivers*). But really, it's very surprising, I didn't expect that. It really becomes a worldwide security problem. That coupled with the Ebola epidemy that keeps spreading makes the whole thing sounds like it might start to get a bit messy. And nasty. Luckily I live in a small city in the countryside so I don't fear to be bombed by some terrorists or whatever it could be, but still.
  10. Despite the fact that we lack a good old muscle car like the 70's Challenger, this one definitely looks good.
  11. Last time I've heard a story about a police car stoned in the medias, the car was completely ruined, as you can see here. This one happened near Paris. The three cops inside got badly injured, one having his skull broken. The other happened in Marseille, and ended like this. Windows broken, cops inside struck by the bricks that were thrown from the buildings around. Both occured in some kind of ambush, the assailants already prepared and waiting for the car to arrive. For the case you exposed in South Africa, I actually could "understand" a bit the measures taken by the president, for simple reasons. In South Africa, the white population roughly represents 10% of the total population. However, those 10% of the population actually hold more than 85% of the country's wealth. Seizing white people's belongings wouldn't be too bad, if it was seized from the richest ones, and redistributed to the poor population, to balance the classes. It's actually the basics of communism. The fact that white people are actually targeted in South Africa is actually just linked to the fact that they were the slavers during years and gathered a lot of richness from this era. However, the situation you exposed in Zimbabwe poked my curiosity, I never heard of that. Would you have any link for me to look at this more closely?
  12. Sorry for the late reply, it was night in Europe so, sleeping time. There's not really a shortage of police here, as the governments, no matter from what political party they are, always give a large budget to the ministry of the interior which is in charge of the police and internal security, within the borders. However, I believe that cops are not really doing their job well. For example, I was talking about the Northern Neighborhoods in Marseille. The cops don't go anymore in those Neighborhoods, because each time they go, they end with their cars stoned with small rocks and bricks. So there's almost no official law there. The way the police is organized is also kind of bad. When there's always a permanent police station in big cities and in rich neighborhoods, in the countryside and in poor neighborhoods is kind of hard to have support from the police. But it comes from the differences we have with the american system, for example. For what I know, in the US, you have the city police, like the NYPD, that has its jurisdiction limited to the city, then the state troopers that have their jurisdiction limited by the state borders, then I guess the federal police is above. In France, the police system is a lot different. We have the city police, but in a lot smaller quantity, with less budget and less powers. Then we have the national police that is the widest, and above, we have what we call the Gendarmerie, which is a police that is depending on the army. The lack of city police is the problem, I believe, since for example, where I'm living, a small town of 2600 inhabitants, we have 2, sometimes 3 city cops. The closest Gendarmerie station is at 12 kilometers, and the closest national police station at 35 kilometers. Considering the city cops and the Gendarmerie station are closed during the night, if someone gets mugged during the night here, the police would have to do 35 kilometers before actually arriving on the place. So basically, we have no protection. For the gap between wealth classes, it's actually accentuented by the different governments that succeeded to each other. Overall, they always led a politic towards companies and not towards workers, always reducing taxes for companies, never increasing wages, and always increasing taxes for people. There's a middle class, but it's less and less noticable, as they either go up and join the rich one, or go down and join the poor one. I wouldn't mind the governments focusing on the companies, if the said companies actually used the help politics give them to hire more people, or increase the wages, since their benefits increased. But instead, either they relocate their plants and factories to poor countries like China, or they keep all the money they got to place it into tax heavens like Switzerland or the Caymans Islands, while firing more and more employees, increasing in both cases the unemployment.
  13. To be very honest, it's not as generalized as some people could say. The crime wave is actually happening around Marseille, a big city in the south of the country (and actually at 70 kilometers of where I'm living), where there have been a lot of settling of scores, mostly between drug dealers and gangs. The majority of the people involved are coming from what we call the Northern Neighborhoods, which is a concentration of people with arabic origins. Of course, I won't dare generalize a whole population based on small groups, a lot of people living in those neighborhoods are just living there because they can't afford more fancy places, since the buildings in this area have very low rents to help poor people in their everyday life. But the fact that small groups are vandalizing, stealing, and all that stigmatizes a whole people only for a few persons' actions, increased the antipathy from racist people towards those people. And that, is actually the generalized thought going through the country since a few years. "Hey look, it's always arabic or black people doing crimes, so we must kick all of them out of the country!" A very basic (and stupid) reasoning.
  14. The problem is that in Europe, you have the right to travel from one country to another without any restriction, because before being a country resident, you are first of all a European citizen. And thus, you can go wherever you want in Europe. That's why immigration is almost impossible to be controlled, at least within countries member of the EU. I also made the same statement, as a french citizen, that racism and intolerance are growing more and more each day. The extremist political party in France ( called Front National, for curious people who would take a look at it on wikipedia) is getting more and more adherents. The same goes for the Golden Dawn, in Greece, which is a neo-nazi party. During the last elections to elect our members for the European Parliament, the Front National gathered 25% of the votes. Twenty-five. They never had such a huge score since the creation of the party in the 80's. Says a lot, in my opinion. I will probably get the godwin point for this, but the conjuncture in Europe is very similar to what the conjuncture was in Germany in the 30's. There was a lot of unemployment, a lot of poor people as well as an economic crisis in Germany, and He-Must-Not-Be-Named promised to german people that he would solve everything. Credulous, and tired to see that other political parties never did anything for them, they elected him. I am afraid that people did not learn the lesson from this dark era and will reiterate the same mistake. If yes, I will make sure to take the first plane to a peaceful country. Like Canada.
  15. Alright, so, I played a session this night, and I ended crashing as usual, here are the logs I found in the GTA directory.
  16. Hello to everyone! I'm finally landing here after days of research to find what was wrong with my game and more accurately my game when modded with LCPDFR, but I couldn't find a solution mostly because I am blocked by a simple problem: the LCPDFR Diagnostic tool can't generate logs to tell me what's wrong! Let's get into the details, shall we. First of all: My game is not a crack version but a Steam version My game is 1.0.7.0 I run the .exe as an administrator Nothing in the game folder is in "read only" ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder There is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. I'm using LCPDFR 1.0c I have .Net Framework 4.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ Redlist 2012 installed. Then! I have been trying different setups to see if anything was causing a problem. First the vanilla game with LCPDFR, then LCPDFR with modded cars, then LCPDFR with modded cars and various scripts, and finally all the previous with an ENB (tried each time with a different ENB after reinstalling the whole game). Sadly, everytime, when LCPDFR is installed, the game will eventually crash saying it stopped working, with an additional note saying the game ran out of memory. The same "ran out of memory" error occurs when I close the game properly. However, this does not happen when LCPDFR is not installed, which makes me think that the problem is there. So, as a good and disciplined forum user, I wanted to generate some logs via the Diagnostic Tool in Advanced mode. But there's another problem! The Diagnostic Tool always stops working when I try generating logs. Not when I configure the option files, not when I check the installation, but only when I try to generate logs. Peculiar, in my opinion. I tried to download the LCPDFR.exe a couple times to see if that was actually a version problem that would have been fixed, but it didn't give any result. My latest try to make everything work properly was this morning, fresh install with only the trainer installed and LCPDFR, got the "memory full" error when I exited the game. Thanks to anyone who could help me out, and see you in the streets fellow officers! EDIT: A small edit to add the asilog, just in case, even though I don't think there's any trouble in those:
  17. After using Bxbugs123 cars for a while, and not being a huge fan of using real life liveries, I wanted to modernize a bit the cars I was using with a Whelen Liberty lightbar instead of the classic Vector Federal Signal. I picked up cars here and there to match the templates of the liveries I originally had in addition of some I found around here to end with that fleet that I really like.
