When I try to launch GTA using ragehook, the social club login pops up, but doesnt let me log in. The "log in" button just stays white and has a loading sign, it does the same thing when I try to launch GTA normally

A long time ago I had a pack in my game that I absolutely loved. I since had to reset my computer and for the life of me, I cant seem to remember where it came from. Sadly I do not have many pictures of it, but does anyone recognize this pack? Thank you!

Very very valid point. I never thought about it in that way. Although its a little different situation, I do understand where your coming with. Long story short, I agree with both sides. I understand the frustrations from the developers. I understand them wanting more security, but at the same time, I agree with staff about making it public and making it so anyone can download stuff. Its what makes this website/community "unique" I guess you can say. But as I said, i do see where youre coming from. But I also see where staff is coming from. Either way, security isnt the problem, its the ignorant people who decide to do this to developers.

Agreed. Thats actually not a bad idea. To create an account to even just to download anything, they should make you "verify" using some other account. Whether its a steam account, discord account, etc. Then maybe it will deter people from stealing models. I don't know, like I said, Its really difficult to stop this, especially when its happening off of the LSPDFR website. At that point it would be the developers job to deal with it. LSPDFR staff should not get bashed for "letting it happen". As im sure you can understand, they cant control what people do. Best thing they can do is brainstorm, get opinions from members (CIVILLY) and improve security, if possible.

Gotcha, my apologies. Obviously hard to tell the tone of someone through text. I just assumed it was sarcastic or something. Like I said, I don't really release anything because of this risk. If im being honest, im no genius when it comes to this stuff. I wouldn't be able to compete with half the people on this forum lol. But I know how and I do it on the side for friends. I also make skins, have made SEVERAL for personal use and for use within a FiveM community. I have contemplated releasing some of the skins, but don't really know if its worth it or not.

First, I do agree with the capchta thing. That annoys the crap out of me lol, but I do understand why they have it I guess. Second, the verification process.... See, I did not know that I did not think about that. Again, im not against better security. I just don't know how they would go about it (other than the verification thing you explained that I JUST learned about). Yes, the more things a new member has to go through, the less of a chance of someone coming in just to rip models. Someone with these intentions obviously wont want to go through that. You showing proof of someone "claiming to be banned" (a screenshot of that conversation) is completely different from an admin/staff member posting their ban log/form... A little conversation (your proof) and a ban log (sams proof) aren't really the same thing. Walk up to your boss (If you work, I don't know your life) and tell him you wanna see the papers of someone who was fired from your workplace. its not your job to look at them is it? They aren't for YOUR eyes. you initiated the argument of him getting banned, if anything, YOU should be showing the proof that he was. Unless you don't have any of course... If you read further, you would know that the reason you have never heard of me, is because I don't release. I think I've made about 3-5 cars for some friends. So I know how to do it. im by all means not a "large" developer... Read through the entire statement before trying to criticize me buddy....

I am indeed serious. And its not that I don't care enough. As hard as it may be for you to believe, I do actually care. As I said, i have friends who doe vehicle modeling. I myself do ELS modeling. However, i know this is a risk, which is why I don't release. I only make them for good friends. Also, im not against "better security" for this website. I just don't know how you would be able to do it. Theres literally no way to prevent this. I wont lie, i do agree that you should HAVE to make an account to download anything. Will it help with this problem? Ehhh maybe, but probably not. Now, when it comes to proof, here's the problem with screenshots and stuff (I know someone posted one up above, but don't recall who). Those can easily be staged to "get back" at someone for something. I can make a new discord account, with your exact name and go around saying "I just ripped your model and im going to send it out". Someone sees that and reports it to staff on LSPDFR. You get banned because an account on discord matching YOUR name said they were doing it. How would you feel? How would you like that to happen. And you know what, maybe snowflakes isnt the proper term to use, youre right. Ill be civil and wont do any name calling, as that would ruin an argument (I will actually edit my post and take it out). As to your comment of " this site would be nothing without those who showed real dedication to making the vehicles we have now", you are completely correct! Without modelers or even modders in general taking time out of their day to make stuff to enhance this game, this game would be really boring. My point is this, I understand your frustrations, but dont go crying (not saying YOU specifically are) to staff on a PUBLIC website about something they cant control and something that didn't even happen on their website. Im sure there's more bans then you think because of stuff like this. We just don't know because we aren't staff. I would agree with "better security", but don't know how you would go about that...

Im just here to watch all these developers try to tell a STAFF MEMBER or MODERATOR how to do their jobs. To all the staff in this post, as you probably know, you will never be able to explain any of this to the dense, close-minded people within this thread.... no matter how much you dumb it down.. They will never understand the fact that you have no control over anything outside of your site. They must think you have legal right to everything on the internet... I enjoy watching all these people threaten you guys with "leaving LSPDFR", these snowflakes, are far outnumbered by the CIVIL modelers and the modelers who actually do this because they enjoy it. now, dont get me wrong, a world with no modelers for GTA V, would suck. But that would never happen. there will always be modelers mature enough to continue doing what they do. Now, to the modelers out there. i understand your frustrations, I really do. I have a couple buddies who model and have had stuff taken from them. But you know something? They dont constantly harass LSPDFR staff about it. You know why? Because there nothing they can do. they can not force "legal action" or ANYTHING along those lines outside of their site. That is the job of the modeler to do. Hide certain things within your models to prove its yours. Then, when you see it posted on another site, dont contact LSPDFR staff about it, contact the staff of that site it was posted on and show proof its yours and get it taken down. Nobody in this world can control the actions of anyone. You put it on the site, knowing theres a chance of this happening. Dont cry to LSPDFR staff when it actually does happen. As to the "block people" or "require an account" comments. That wont stop anyone... Anybody can use a VPN or anything along those lines and create another account and get through the ban. Anyone can create fake accounts just so they can download stuff. If you are going to release anything, understand the risks involved. Dont cry to someone about it....

Is it possible to make skins reflective on a vehicle made by someone else? I saw one video on how to do it, but you needed to actually open the car in zmodeler, which I obviously cant and wont do if its not mine. I just want to make my own skin for my game but make it reflective. Specifically the Chevrons I have on the back. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Is there a way to add multiple textures of like a vest to a police uniform? For example, with cars, you can add multiple textures just by changing a number. Can you do that to police peds as well? The texture file name for the ped im using now is "accs_diff_002_a_uni" but when I changed it to "accs_diff_003_a_uni" and added it to the texture file and went into the "drawable dictionary" to actually look at it, The 003 did not show up but the 002 did. I created new skins for a vehicle pack in GTA V but cant seem to find out how to make it so that I can edit the license plate lettering in game. Is there a away to do this, if so how?

How would I add lights to the bottom of the the hatch of like a Tahoe or something? That way if I have the trunk open, You can still see lights? Kind of like this:
