When I take a screenshot (via F12 using Steam), where does Steam put it? I can't find them.

In many videos, I have seen a "console" that you can open up. It's a multi-page series of cheats that you can use (change vehicle livery, give a weapon, etc.). I can't seem to find a mod that does this, and I know it's not part of the stock game. Can anyone help me find this?

I found the problem. I put the .ini file in the wrong place. Problem solved!

So I finally caved and installed ELS8, hoping that the crashes wouldn't be too frequent. However, upon attempting to activate my siren, nothing happened. I remapped the vanilla siren to P and tried again. No luck. I pressed J, K, Alt-G.... So far nothing is working. Perhaps I do need to configure the default_config.ini file (the instructions say to configure the ELS.ini file but it doesn't exist), but it all looks like gibberish to me. I know I'm using ELS-enabled vehicles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: The ELS.ini file does exist; I will place it in the ELS folder and hope for results. EDIT: No luck. H turns on the headlights. That's it.

So there is a property system. That would explain the other "resident parking only" decals I've seen around the place. Thanks. Still, this feature would be a good thing to add.

Let's face it. Driving to where you want to patrol can be a pain. You always start out in Broker-Dukes (I believe; I don't know if there's a property system in GTA IV) and have to work your way out from there. This can be downright annoying if you wish to patrol in, say, Alderny. So imagine a system where you could enter a police station, go into a room, and be taken to a little mini-map where you could select which station you wished to exit from. This would eliminate the hassle of driving everywhere, and would allow easier variety and roleplay. I don't know if there's a script or something that adds this feature but I've seen nothing, so I'm leaving this here.

I like this tutorial. There's no lengthy "flavor text" to clog up the narrative, and everything is explained clearly. Normally I prefer text guides over videos, but this one is clearly of good quality.

This may seem like an odd question, but with saving as annoying as it is in GTA IV, do you typically save your game between LCPDFR sessions? I'm kind of undecided, as I often find myself in areas far from the save point. Does it depend on whether you've linked your crime statistics or not?

Well, I recently saved the game and quit while I was set as "on duty." I had installed the Breathalyzer script, though I doubt it has caused this problem. When I tried loading the game again, it stopped working after the "chapter" loading text. How can I fix this? I have other saves from before the Breathalyzer script was installed, so if there's something I need to delete, it isn't a problem. I just would like to play again. (Apparently the forum doesn't let me paste text. Hooray.)
