  1. This story was very sicking, it angered me to see that video and to see that a mother would do that to her own child. another thing that got me was the fact that the father was also charged in the case, this is what i don't like about our legal system how is it that your going to charge the father with a crime you have no proof he committed. this is why i say men need to watch out who they get pregnant because when you impregnate hoodrats like her, this is the end result. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2014/09/15/mother-faces-charges-for-11-month-old-sons-injuries/ http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhADnIR3PWwRVf0tT1&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+worldstarhiphop%2FORBD+(WorldStarHipHop+Media+Player)
  2. Love it man, release the beautiful siren.
  3. False The person below me loves the praying mantis.
  4. Hey now let's not fight each other, why can't we all be friends?
  5. Yeah I get what a lot of you are saying, in my opoion the only few rules at my school that I find absolutely ridiculous is the 'boys are not allowed to wear piercings rule' but then you have to remember it's the district who made those rules not the admisnatrators, now the rule about the I.d all I have to say is this it's just a damn I.d just put it on and move on with your life just about every job out there requires you to wear an I.d :o, but yeah it's the teachers class and since he/she is the one giving you the education you shouldn't be arguing with the teacher over any rules they have their class.
  6. yeah one other thing i can't stand is when teachers threaten to call their parents or the AP and the students respond 'so i don't care i'm not scared of you' like dude that wanse't meant to scare you.
  7. At my district you get charged with truancy if you go a number of days without going to school.
  8. well he was being a bit of a distraction, one thing i can't stand is when students say "bro you is not finna tell me what to do bro" wth? Also i recently watched a youtube video this guy was saying, the only rights students have is the right to learn and come to school, other than that students don't have any rights.lol
  9. Hey guys so I have just have one simple question do students a.k.a in high school, have rights? The reason I ask this is because yesterday a student was auguring with the teacher saying it's his civil right to sit in his seat and that she can't make him move because he didn't do anything wrong, she threatened to call the ap and everything but he still would not move out his seat. It was kinda disturbing to see that.
  10. According to the Program for International Student Assessment, the average reading literacy score for U.S. fifteen-year old students is 498 (out of 1000 possible points). That is enough to make the United States rank twenty-fourth out of sixty-five educational systems ranked in that category. Shangai, China, ranked first, with a score of 570. I've noticed in the u.s we have this big test called the STAAR test, in my school or in other words here in Texas in order for you to get that high school diploma, you HAVE to pass the following STAAR tests: 1. Algerbra 1 2. English 1 3. Biology 4. English 2 5. U.s history I've known kids who have taken the English 2 test 3 times and still fail, 'sigh'. This number was 250+ kids.
  11. True The person below me loves going to school.
  12. Well thanks for the tip, I'm still a junior right now so I got some time left, one more thing as for cost for college I'm not too much worried on that as my teacher also said it's not always that expensive to go out of state (because I want to go out of state) he said this because 1. They want you to live there 2. They want you to stay after you graduate. So yeah there's thousands of scholarships out there waiting for you to apply for them, anyways thanks again for the advice.
  13. Good point cp702, one other thing I did learn about college is the other day my teacher was saying most professors are just going to give you the syllables and say "here's what we're doing for the entire month either turn it in or you don't" I'm fine with that, another my teacher told me is that I really need to get better at my paraphrasing and note taking skills because I have this tendency where every slide I see in the PowerPoint I copy Everything down (I know bad habit), he said most professors will spend only a certain amount of time on the slide and move on, never goes back.
  14. Eh well I still take one, either political geography or physical geography.
  15. Speaking of college, for those of you in college is it true that it is mandatory that you take a geography class your first year in college?
