Hey guys, so i'm a little confused. Now i've been hearing stories that we're still fighting it, but i'm not sure how true this is, but is the U.S still fighting the war on terror (ie. that war that started ever since 9/11)

Another thing I want to add. Now, let's say I was a CIA official and I thought you were a terrorist. Congratulations, you just got kidnapped, tortured, and will probably never see your family again. Not so black and white now, is it.

Awesome, we should see way more stories like this, it warms my heart to see positive stories like this about the police. :)

I agree, there should be a much more effective way of getting information rather than just torturing somebody.

thing is that torture is a very ineffective method since the person being tortured will give whatever answer to stop the torturing whether he knows what he's talking about or not. 

I don't agree with torture at all, it's wrong and in no way do I see it being justified, I stand strongly by my statement, how many innocents have been killed because the CIA *thought* they had information, this kind of stuff infuriates me because this is a violation of human rights.

Pirate bay is 'one' of the many torrents sites that are out there, so it is more than likely that pirate or some other makeshift website will be up.

@ian20 I agree, in the constitution of the untied states, there is a separation of church and state. So if your religion doesn't allow gay marriage, they have a right to that and a religion should not be forced to let people marry in there service. @Takao, you know what I assume you hate gays and agree that they should be killed, after all your profile picture is the Russia and they kill homosexuals, seriously at the very least show some sympathy man, is that too much to ask.

This law has to be a joke, why would anybody make this law?! I don't think we're going back to the middle ages, that's an exageration, but i do think kids are getting dumber by the day, again this my opoioin.

What I'm confused, do the people who made this law even know what they're talking about, this law has to be a joke, one would think these types of laws would've gain national attention, I'm still a little fuzzy on this one, so I'll wait.

You're right, porn is usually unrealistic, okay put it this way, if a child is caught watching porn, he/she shouldn't be punished for it but rather told that this is NOT real life.

You're missing the point, as Tom stated if you become addicted to porn, it is a problem. I brought up the fact that the porn industry rakes up lots of money so people will see the benefit of not banning it. And I think it is alright to show a twelve year old pornagraphy just to get them introduced to sex and the ups and downs of sex.

Alright guys, the topic is open again, now that we have everything thing clear now. I'll go ahead and post my opinion: porn is not a right, so if the UK wants to ban it then oh well, while I've nothing against twelve years watching it (you know to get them introduced to sex) then that's fine, but if porn watching starts to become an addiction, you should get help. I also think that porn objectify women in a lot of ways, so there's a good reason as to why the UK is taking a stand against the industry. One thing that is undeniable is the billions of dollars that the porn industry ranks in every year.

I'am highly against the old school, that makes me feel less equal and I feel as though I'm not important as they are. Sorry but I don't like this idea.
