  1. I think everybody knows this by now, but ISIS does not represent islam.
  2. I don't think that's what he meant, yes we should respond with force when someone attacks our country, but only the enemy and not the innocents.
  3. Now that I agree with, there are so many idiots at my school, it's unbelievable, I have little to no faith in this new generation. :(
  4. Horrible, those people need to be eradicated or brought to justice, there is no point in holding someone hostage.
  5. I'm pretty sure that that is subjective, it depends on who you talk about when you say "good guy", there can be a lot of good guys than there are right now, we just have to push for a better world or better policies.
  6. You don't have to chop someone's head off or any other similar act to be considered inhumane, just because they didn't videotape it doesn't mean that it's not wrong, it is. As I have stated before, for psychological interrogation, it should be done at a level where it doesn't amount to touture (eg. Breaking them down, verbal insults, persuading techniques, etc.) For physiological, the same thing (eg. Slapping them, roughing them up a bit, etc.) Torutuing is not acceptable in my opinion and I strongly agree that the government should change its tatics on interrogation methods, valuable information can be gathered WITHOUT the use of Torutue.
  7. I completely disagree with your opinion, but I respect it. However, I think most can agree that if someone is brought in, there must be evidence to say that they are in fact a terrorist.
  8. So let me see if I got this right, you assume that most people that got toutured probably deserved it?
  9. I have to agree heavily with co702 here, politicians who are voted in office do make changes to the government and how they work, for you people who just don't care, well you should care after all it is your government we're talking about here, you want the politicians to make major changes (eg. Climate change, welfare and healthcare) you make it happen by rallying up, making a good plan and send it to congress, then when the next election comes around, you elect the politicians who will prove to be most suitable for your plan and will continue to make significant changes in the near future, remember guys it only takes one person to make a massive admenment.
  10. I disagree with this, for one was it sad that all those people lost their lives on 9/11, Absolutely. But should we still be fighting after we have killed the man responsible for the attacks, no. You seem to have the eye for an eye view, where if one person does something to another we commit the same act to them, but worser. Also your whole "we must in order to preserve peace and look after those, who can't look after themselves", sorry dude but you cannot protect a person forever, it's impossible. There will always be people who can't defend or look after themselves, but the good people who're in the Middle East can do that already and we don't need the U.S for that. This whole war on terror is bogus. And before any of you say "well what if the terrorists attack us after we leave the Middle East" I'm pretty sure we have the technology and manpower to prevent another terrorist attack, even if terrorists did attack on US soil, we can handle the situation without war.
  11. Um, I guess I can try and help you, Has your father got an email address?
  12. I want to address all the points you made, but I'll do some and CK or someone else do the rest. 1. There is no proof that says 2.3 trillion dollars went missing, even if it did, what's that got to do with anything. 2. All of the hijackers died in the plane crashes 3. 16 million dollars was invested into 9/11 because that was the money that was needed 4. The reason why 84 cameras were consficated was because that was evidence needed for the investigation 5. The patriot act was created after 9/11 because terrorism became more pensive.
  13. I refuse to believe that the United States is responsible for the deaths of 2,997 people. With that said, I still don't see a need as to why we need to be in the Middle East.
  14. I've spotted the batman fan, which I'am also. :D
  15. Yeah their rich, but couldn't they have donated this money to charity or something like that? I mean the boat looks cool and all, but it's not nesscary to build something like that.
  16. So this is what people are spending their money on? Yet another boat that is not important and the money that was invested into the boat could be used for something so much more important.
  17. Sir, from what I've seen you use no type of critical thinking whatsoever, what if the president had been in the White House, you do know that if passangers on the fourth plane hadn't fought back, they've most likely flow the plane to D.C. I think me and CK are more educated on 9/11 than you're.
  18. First of all, I don't see how anyone here was implying that they were an expert on national security, you're the one that said that. Also I've not betrayed my country, I just simply believe in human rights. Say what you want, but the fact of the matter is lots of innocents were taken into custody and had their rights violated. And you say "break every bone in their body" now that's just immoral and disgusting, you're literally crippling a person and more than likely a person will die from that kind of torment. You sound like the typical American who thinks their government is so perfect, that we should not judge them based on their actions.
  19. I must say sir you're very brave and courageous to do this, may you come back home safely. I agree that ISIS should be eradicated I (I would say that another country should go and fight ISIS, but I sound unfair to say that) unless there is a straightforward plan to destroy ISIS, then I see no point in being in Iraq.
  20. I'am bit confused, are you talking about the money that's been made from the war or the increased military power of the US?
  21. This whole war is pointless too many innocents have died as a result of this war, also 9/11 was fourteen years ago, we already killed enough terrorists and there is no point to still be in Iraq.
  22. I sense sarcasm in this post and I don't think offcierlund deserves that, furthermore you're wrong when you everybody will flip out because people like myself will remain calm and eager to await the incoming envidence about the aliens.
  23. Dear, never thought of it that way, what you just mentioned is wrong and plain embarrassment. I think an acceptable form would be one that breaks down the suspect and convices them to confess or maybe show a stack of files they have against the suspect and throw it at them, but definitely not what you just metioned.
  24. This is turning out to be a very good debate, me like. Now listen, this is to Tom, okay this is how I would do it, like what you said what if a terrorist was threatening to blow a elementary school or carry out a massive genocide on a city like New York, unless you valid evidence and I mean valid, that he/she has the bomb, instead of torutuing the suspect, you break them psychological and get into their heads, something more efficient, again torture has been proven to be ineffective many times.
  25. Well then in that case I'll give my opinion on this war. Personally I do not support it at all, primarily because it's bogus and hasn't benefited anyone, thousands of civilians have died as a result from the monsterous war and we've spent way too much money on the war, what's the point it's been fourteen years since 9/11 and we're still fighting it? This war on terror is a load of BS in my opinion. What do you guys think of the war on terror?
