  1. I will try removing some, I still think its LCPDFR causing the problem because it was still crashing prior to downloading those scripts just not as often. The only mods I used before were ELS, LCPDFR, Simple Native Trainer, and police car mods. Do you see any errors in the logs posted above? I am asking you because you're one of the most helpful people on the forum but overall the forum is great! Thanks!
  2. It seems like my game crashes as soon as I install LCPDFR, not immediately after I start the game but after i've been playing for a while. Do you see anything wrong with the LCPDFR log? Or any of the other logs? Edit: Also I've seen other people use these same mods and scripts with LCPDFR and they run pretty stable. And almost all of the mods I used are from the link about what mods you can run with LCPDFR '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  3. Okay so I installed vdh PoliceHelper, and some other scripts listed below but since then it has been crashing within 1-10 minutes of starting LCPDFR (It has never really been stable). The game crashes usually whenever I am responding to a call or have somebody pulled over (It happens at random). The mods I have installed are LCPDFR 1,0c, ELS V8, Simple Native Trainer, vdh PoliceHelper, vdh Tow Service, vdh Medical Examiner, BraveHearts ANPR, Indicator script and 4-5 car mods. I am using Xlive. Any logs I thought would helpful I posted below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! My specs: CPU: AMD FX 8350 4.0GHZ GPU: GTX 650 1GB RAM: 8GB's of Corsair Vengeance
  4. I am also have the "Failed to authenticate" issue when playing single player.
  5. I have pretty good PC specs and so far Traffic Flow is working great! If I have any issues in the future I will try Traffic Load. Thanks for the suggestion!
  6. It worked btw. Thanks!!
  7. Okay I will download that and try it, Thanks!!
  8. For some reason after I install one vehicle all I see is taxi's and police cars. (I modded in a State police car in place of noose.wft/wtd) I don't understand its only one vehicle, why is causing this issue. All I have installed is Simple Native Trainer, LCPDFR, ELS 7, and the police car. How can I fix this issue? Any suggestions would help a lot!
  9. I am having a problem with the patch. When I run the patch to install it, it says "Failed installing title update"
  10. My specs are: Nvidia GTX 650 1GB AMD 8350 Eight Core (4.0 GHz) 8GB of Ram Corsair Vengeance Windows 8 I can run the game on all high settings without any issues. How do I check what version of GTA I have because I don't know if I have 1.0.7.0??
  11. Out of curiosity what did you edit to stop it from crashing?? I also have this problem and I can only play for a good 10-15 minutes before it crashes, any suggestions?? Thanks!
  12. Okay so I realized that my game keeps crashing due to my directory being set to "READ ONLY". I've tried un-checking but it always reverts back to "READ ONLY". I don't know what to do at this point, any suggestions would help. Thanks!
  13. Okay so after I uninstalled GTA, reinstalled it and added police car mods, simple native trainer, and ELS it started doing it again. It ran stable for a day but it started having problems today. :(
  14. Well still no luck :( I'm going to try a few more things
  15. Okay Thanks!! I'll let you know what the outcome is
  16. Okay! I am manually downloading LCPDFR because the automatic download never seems to work for me. Should I just copy and paste everything in the manual download to my GTA directory? Thanks!
  17. Should I put it in the GTA directory I made for mods or the file that Steam made for GTA?
  18. Well after going to that link and manually uninstalling the 0.95 files i'm having problems using LCPDFR again....When it loads my saved game it says 'ERROR SCRIPT: LCPDFR_Loader.loader" << Something like that. But if I press ALT + P nothing happens
  19. I downloaded the links and uninstalled what was left from LCPDFR 0.95, I always run the game as administrator. I only use car mods, Native Trainer, ELS, and LCPDFR of course . I'm not sure if this is the right script hook (it might be from 0.95) but the last picture of the script hook repeats for a long time down the list. I'm going to attempt to play again and let you know if it gives me anymore troubles. Thanks!
  20. The first two pictures are the files that Steam made for me when I downloaded the game The last three pictures are the files that someone told me to make for all of my mods, << These are located under Program Files (x86)
  21. Okay so I manually downloaded LCPDFR 1.0a today after waiting a few days for an account activation email but after I downloaded LCPDFR I realized that after 10-20 minutes, sometimes even sooner it would crash and go to the Desktop home screen out of the blue. It even happens when I haven't pressed ALT + P to activate LCPDFR. I have download a good amount of car mods, Native Trainer, and ELS but that's it. I have heard not to put certain files in the GTA IV root folder but I don't know what that folder is.....I was thinking it might be the directory where you put all of your mods but I don't know. I'm new to this kind of stuff but I've modded other games in the past. If someone could help me figure this out that would be GREATLY appreciate! Thanks!
