VocalDispatch
To anyone experiencing the issue where it will load, display the notification that it loaded, then ignore key/button input, try 1.5.1.0 (or later). I addressed that specifically.

VocalDispatch API
That's actually an awesome idea - some sort of status check, and if you don't answer, it'll send backup. Hmm. I like it. I wanted to implement an "interaction" system so that there's more than just a one-off statement (i.e. you conduct a traffic stop and dispatch asks if you need an additional, etc.). Sometime in the future, perhaps.

[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
@DoubleP99 I believe it just searches for installed Windows language packs. We've been having difficulties with that, apparently. I think installing the American English language pack should help - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/language-packs might be a good place to start (I'm not sure, having never done it myself).

@DoubleP99 it'll automatically load all XML files in the {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch folder.

Indeed it is - with the new API (in 1.5.0.0), you can customize or add whatever you want to VocalDispatch - there's a guide on using it here: https://github.com/turbofandude/VocalDispatchAPIExample The API and xml files can accomplish this - if you'd like, I could do a short video explaining everything. Hmm. Do you have the files installed properly?

VocalDispatch API
Anyone interested, I have released an API for VocalDispatch, as well as added the ability to add custom events/phrases, for use with both default and third party functions. Some ideas of what the API can be used for are: Providing custom backup behavior during a callout. Adding new functions entirely (coroner request, etc.). Adding status phrases that can be used in place of menus. There is an example project, as well as a step-by-step API usage guide available on GitHub here. Support requests, questions, and comments for the API can be posted either here or on GitHub, I will monitor both.

@gamingsavage I'm glad to hear it! I was actually just about to look at the file, I'm glad I checked the forum first lol.

Everything looks correct - no errors, or anything. Can you try a different key? (i.e. change it in the ini) This is something the developer of that plugin would have to do, for the most part. That said, I'm going to be releasing an API with the next version of VocalDispatch and I've been talking with Albo1125 about getting vocal support in Police Radio. It's coming down the pipeline :D Hmm. Just to test, can you try setting your Windows language to US English? Obviously, change it back afterward, but I'd like to know if that's a solution. You should be able to add it with just the editing of the XML file. If you'd like, send me your XML file and I'll see if I can spot what's going on.

Sure! I was hoping native speakers would help with translations. I don't change the script much these days, so it's fairly safe to start translations. Just to be sure, you are running everything updated, correct? I've never experienced these things. @Albo1125 Have you ever heard of this?

@Cy4n1d3 you'll want the value of the "PreferredText" and, if needed, "AcceptedAlternates" attributes of the "Word" elements. i.e. change <Word PreferredText="ten"/> to <Word PreferredText="diez"/> for Spanish, etc.

VocalDispatch
@AutumnBreeze Is it responding at all? (i.e. is it just saying "Didn't copy, please say again." or is it ignoring 100%?) if you want, add me on Skype (it's the same username as here). We'll coordinate there.

[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
Argh! I "followed" the topic but it didn't save. @repo401 sorry about the delay, Tuesday+ would be fine. Do you want to message me here to coordinate?

[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
@repo401 well, I'll suggest what do at my business at this point - would be able to setup a TeamViewer meeting with me to take a look?
-
[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
@repo401 I see no attempt to begin listening there at all. I'm wondering if Right Alt just isn't getting picked up for you, for some reason. Can you try a different key? (I.e. edit the .ini file)?
-
VocalDispatch
I don't see any attempt to listen for input in that log. It is not detecting your keypress - are you possibly on a laptop/gaming keyboard that may disable Alt or use it as a function key in-game? Can you try another key (i.e. changing it in the .ini)? It requires very clear and intentional annunciation. As well, the more of those training sessions, the better it becomes. Good mic volume and placement also help. @repo401 Let's continue this on one venue or the other please (forums, preferably). EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE LOG FILES INTO COMMENTS. Instead, attach them as files. Trying to read a log inline (alongside other comments) is as obnoxious as my big, bold, red text.

That log you sent me does not look like an on-duty log man. I'd venture to say you may have it installed wrong or there's something seriously messed up with your LSPDFR.

[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
@repo401 Did you go on duty in that log? VocalDispatch only kicks in when on duty. @cros1625 Upon doing further research, I discovered that audio processing stuff in Windows (i.e.the Realtek Audio Manager or effects in the Sound Devices interface) can also cause it. Do you have any of these? @xRaymond You know, that's the biggest thing I hate not having, but I only imagine how hilariously difficult getting it to hear all of those words correctly would be. I'm afraid of the user spending more time repeating him/herself than it would have taken to type it lol. It works by detecting keywords now, so you could literally say "requesting giraffe bathtub tow truck" and you'd still get a tow truck, but that won't work for consecutive input like plates/IDs. Maybe I could incorporate a system like Police Radio has to lookup the nearest vehicle's information or the last obtained ID(s) instead of you saying the whole phrase. For example, "Can I get a license plate lookup?" and it'll give you the nearest plate.

VocalDispatch
@Cy4n1d3 You can actually set it up for another language at any point. All you'd need to do is change the language in the .ini file and edit the script.xml. I don't speak Swedish, nor do I think Google Translate would do it any justice, so me doing it is out lol.

@Cy4n1d3 Can you send the ragepluginhook.log? @cros1625 Does regular Windows Speech Recognition work for you? That's a new error... lol.

VocalDispatch
In your main GTA folder. That happens if the Ped is either in a car or something for a while, it seems. Just like, take them out and put them back in or similar and it should work. I'm glad you're enjoying it! I was really happy about the accepting calls thing lol.

[REL] VocalDispatch - Communicate with Dispatch Verbally!
About Welcome to VocalDispatch for LSPDFR! Features: Communicate verbally with dispatch Accept a callout verbally Request backup (code 2, code 3, pursuit, air unit, SWAT, ambulance, firetruck) verbally End current callout verbally Tow truck and transport support (via Arrest Manager) Responses to status (show me <status>) and detained/in custody reports for videos and added immersion Varied and appropriate responses to verbal communication To use features provided via Arrest Manager, you will need to install Arrest Manager by Albo1125, version 5.8.0.0 or higher. Support Common Issues VocalDispatch has an error when I go on duty. This is usually caused by a missing language pack. Ensure that you have the correct language pack installed to Windows. To get started, install the English (United States) language pack. In some cases, the problem can be solved via this method (thank you to @falcon3y for helping identify and explain the issue): VocalDispatch hears no audio: Make sure your microphone is unmuted and set as the default microphone in Windows. VocalDispatch does not do anything when I press the button: Ensure you're pressing the correct button (Right Alt, by default). The correct process for use is pressing the button, speaking your command, then pressing it again when you wish to speak another command. Reporting Problems Please include the RagePluginHook.log file that exists in your Grand Theft Auto V folder with any problem reports or support requests. Tips to Help Communicate a Problem without Making Me Hate Myself (and You) Please do not copy and paste your entire log file inline. It makes it super hard to read properly (and search) and makes reading other comments/replies difficult. Instead, attach it as a file. Please do not ask me to expedite my answer or repost your question if it takes me a little while to answer, as it will just junk up the thread. Please include as much relevant information as you can in your first post to avoid junking up the thread, as well.

You know when you play LSPDFR too much when......
This. My friend's a cop and between his stories/teachings and LSPDFR to put some of it, informationally, first hand, I've learned a lot and gained a lot of respect for law enforcement officers (I had a ton of respect previously, but not with as much actual knowledge).

GTAV Crashes at Storymode after Recent Update...
Same, it's been very unstable for me recently. Must be an RPH/new GTA update thing.
