Okay, well hopefully someone can help, I've done a search, not seen anyone else with the problem, other people seem to just install the models and it works, for me the GTA V Launcher wants to replace all the rpf files I've modified. No way to stop it.

That was the correct location? Since it was to do with LSPDFR mods?

Everytime I install custom models with OpenIV, I run rage to start the game and the launcher then re-downloads all the modified files again replacing with originals, why is it doing this? How do I stop it re-downloading the modified files?

​That is very sweet indeed, with this just imagine the kind of "total conversion" mods for GTA V we could get. I'd love to see all kinds of mods being made in the GTA V world + engine. LCPD:FR could technically be considered a whole game of it's own with this kind of mod.

​Well the issue with that is, all online activity in GTA V is through GTA Online, whether it is connecting to an official Rockstar server or not. There's no other Multi player function in GTA V at the moment. So by the look of things, there will be 0 chance of anyone using LSPD:FR online until a new kind of Multi player is created, even if it's a third party modification that does multiplayer. Maybe a mod will come around that creates a multi player game while in single player mode. Similar to how the San Andreas Multi player was.

My main question is, I wonder how communities and clans will be able to use LSPDFR, considering Rockstar has official said any scripthook script or modification used in GTA Online WILL result in a ban, so LSPD:FR looks like it will only work for people doing single player solo games. At least for now. With so many clans already saying they will move to GTA V, I wondering how it will work in the end. Maybe you guy's can work with Rockstar? :P Seems silly I know, but I really think GTA V should have something else other than GTA Online, I mean why not introduce a Private Multiplayer mode to GTA V, that players can setup private lobbies and invite friends, for people who just want an evening of messing around in the world of Los Santos with friends. I'm just sad, because I currently can not play GTA IV, it crashes on my system no matter what I do. But GTA V looks like it will Ban me if I go online. I can't enjoy my clans :(

Yeah It's not really a Met group that i like, I even like american ones, been watching a group of the royal canadian mounted police :P

Yeah same as me, I don't like overly large ones with too many rules, I did find a met one but they had a really strange and honestly quite rude rule.. You HAVE to change your gamertag to your name for the clan.. I'm like WTF are you serious? I use that gamertag name for youtube, many other games and groups etc. And it would cost me money to change. Forcing members to change that is like wtf. The only 2 met clans unfortunately are quite strict and too large for me taste. And they kind of, don't do things authentic to met police, hell one of the members of the "firearms" unit is the most immature man ever, everyone else hates him yet he got into that unit somehow.

Yeah i looked at that and it seemed great but i really love the "clan" idea, of having a structure and ranks etc. I'm from the UK so a met clan would be cool but the only 2 worth joining idk, they are either overly strict or don't like you for some reason. I would love to start my own, been running a gaming community now for years, been a leader in many, mostly in Minecraft and Garry's Mod but now I wanna move to GTA LCPDFR since I've played it for a long time and i really want to get into it more.

I know advertising for clans is wrong, so first of all, im not doing that! xD I'm sort of posting just a question related to them. I have like.. 0 friends for multiplayer in LCPDFR all ive done is single player so far, so im just sort of wondering how to find people to play with, and im also sort of just curious how to find people, cause i'd love to start a clan. So im not asking for links, or anything, im just asking for advice how to meet people to start a clan with! JUST advice xD I dont want recommendations to clans, links or anything, just advice on how to meet fellow people.
