  1. The only time it will give you a script error is when it could not load the spotlight object. Please double check that you have the correct settings in images.txt and that you placed the spotlight.img into the correct folder. If all checks out, copy what it says in the console window and paste it on here.
  2. Warning: memcache_connect(): Can't connect to 192.168.1.2:11211, Connection refused (111) in /var/www/vhosts/lcpdfr.com/ips_kernel/classCacheMemcache.php on line 90 You can always change the on-off key in the ini file. :)
  3. I agree with you, if you use whole numbers, for example 1 or 2 instead of decimals(0.5,0.1) it will definitely move it a greater distance. Im thinking maybe you can't see it cause its either underground or somewhere really high up. Start with 0 and make your way up with 0.1 increments.
  4. Hey guys, Please post here, any problems that you are having with the spotlight script and I will be more than happy to correct the issues. Update: I just released V1R1.2, If you have SpotLight already installed, Simply replace the spotlight.net.dll file and add the following lines to the ini; [NSTOCKADE] spot-x=0 spot-y=0 spot-z=0 [Noose] spot-x=0 spot-y=0 spot-z=0 New Findings: The spotlight shows up for some police cars but doesn't for others, for example, it shows up on my police2 but not on the noose. If this is happening, open up common/data/vehicles.ide Look for the car that you are having problems with and make sure that all the names are consistent. They should look something like this. police, police, car, POLICE, POLICE, VEH@STD For example, I have seen where someone had it like so; police, police, car, POLICE, ADMIRAL, VEH@STD As you can see, on the 5th entry, it is written down as ADMIRAL, this will simply not work as the names have to be consistent across the entire entry. There was a problem with the first version released, V1R1.2 should fix this problem. If you are using V1R1, I suggest you update it to the newest(V1R1.2) Copy images.txt to your desktop, Make the change to the file on your desktop, drag it back to the original folder to overwrite it. Please look below at Michael's post if you need help installing it on EFLC. If you need any car mappings, take a look at this thread. Notes: If you are getting an object reference error it is because it did not create the spotlight object. There may be 2 problems. 1. you did not put the spotlight.img in the right directory pc>models>cdimages if you did then, 2. take a look at the images.txt file and make sure that you added: platformimg:/models/cdimages/spotlight 0 Please note that between "spotlight and "0" there is a tab, not a space.
  5. Might be the light model. I'll take a look at it when I get home from work. Thanks, There's so many cars that I overlooked the noose. I'll add it to the list of supported vehicles later on today. I'll give you guys an open spot in the ini file where you can specify your own spotlight enabled vehicle.
  6. Thanks for the fyi. I'll fix it tonight when I get home and upload the new version.you should be able to add it to the stockade but I think I might have messed up on one thing. I'll fix it all later today.
  7. Alright guys, It's been submitted. Now just pending approval from one of the site moderators.
  8. Hey guys, Here's a big update: Im getting ready to release the script in a couple of minutes. So be ready!! Let me know of any problems you run into.
  9. Thanks, Its people like you guys that appreciate hard work that keep us going! Sincerely, Jorge
  10. It can! There is a spot in the ini file where you can set the position of the light under the police mav.
  11. Right now the spotlight attaches to whatever car you are in, therefore, it will be available for every car in gtaiv. I will be adding an ini file where you can add the location of where you wanted relative to the center of the car. There will be seperate settings for each police car. I have not tried it in MP yet but will soon. As of yet, I have not seen any glitches with it.
  12. Hey guys. I've been working on a spotlight script similar to the one that sniper has been working on. Mine is about 95% completed and will be released in a couple of days. I just wanted to show you guys a little video of it in action.
  13. You need an original copy of GTA:IV or EFLC. Also, Please know that we do not provide any support for any illegal/pirated copies of the game. Sincerely, Jorge
  14. Hey guys, I'm trying to create a platform that just rotates via a script in vb.net I'm just basically using a timer and wanting to rotate the wooden platform clockwise every tick. Therefore, I know that for models, there is a Vector3, Rotation class. I know that I would need to use x,y,z but i'm just baffled. I just don't get how to use the rotation function to rotate an object. I'm just looking for a good example to rotate clockwise. Can someone help me out? Thanks, Jorge
  15. Police Pursuit Mod? It sounds like a badly made up script/mod. LCPDFR is so much better and evolves a lot more maturely over time. The other mod of which I do not speak its name has been neglected by it's developers and therefore will not be getting my attention. LCPDFR all the way!
  16. Thanks, I made an actual "Lamp" LOL. so this will help get me started. +1 for you. By the way, Hurry up on releasing the spotlight mod!!! I'm dying to try it.
  17. Using OpenIV(I created a new IMG file and placed it in models/cdimages) then with 3dsmax using the GIMS plugin, I exported an open document file and then imported it with openIV into the new IMG file I made. Of course, I had to add the new IMG file into the images.txt file. I just went into the game and typed spawn lightball and the sphere I had made worked. I did all this without counting on zmodeler. Now im just trying to make a lamp and see if I can get it to light up :)
  18. Hey guys, Do any of you know how to import a 3ds max light(omni, directional spot,etc...) into gtaiv? When I try to export it with GIMS, it gives me an error stating that the object has is missing geometries. Any help would be appreciated. For example. How can I make a lamp give off light? That's the part that gets me. Thanks.
  19. Other than the suggestions made above, You can also use your mouse to make the helicopter pitch forward or pitch backwards. just simply move the mouse up to pitch forward or move backwards to pitch backwards.
  20. Looking nice! Any way you can make a video of you playing lcpdfr with those settings? I bet it looks awesome in action!
  21. If you give me a couple of hours to get home, I'll PM you and check out your installation using teamviewer.
  22. Did you try to install 1.0.7.0 following 1.0.4.0? I believe that you have to install 1.0.6.0 before going to 1.0.7.0
  23. Yep it sure is! Below is the list of all the LCPDFR keys.
  24. I would love to be able to call for backup(Like we currently can), however, instead of the backup showing up and then leaving. It would be nice if they stayed until you completed the task of either ticketing, arresting, or letting the person go. It's all I ask for
  25. Sam, I get about 40 FPS according to the gtaiv benchmark, Which I don't know if its reliable or not. Jorge
