  1. Suspects are too fast / too far and I constantly find myself driving cross country in a cruiser. Awesome work by the devs, though.
  2.    orrwhat4 reacted to a post in a topic: LSPDFR Feature Preview
  3. Funny cat pictures, of course.
  4. It makes much more sense to say that it wouldn't be worth implementing it (for resources and energy's sake, compared to the gain), but originally the only thing you said would that it's easy to get around.
  5. Obviously if someone is trying to get around a word filter, they are doing so out of malice and should be punished. How easy it is to bypass is irrelevant, when the point is to prevent and let the user know that profanity isn't allowed. A profanity filter isn't intended to be perfect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nirvana_fallacy I urge you to look at the examples on that page because the logic you're using is very similar.
  6. While I think prohibiting profanity is a bad idea, that is completely untrue. You can very easily distinguish between a word being alone (such as nip) and a word being part of another (sniper). You're probably wondering why I'm using the word "sniper". I'm using it because it's actually a censored word in GTA online because it contains the letters "nip"... GTA Online is a prime example of what not to do in profanity filters. Differentiating between a sequence of letters being alone by itself and a sequence of letters being part of another sequence of letters is not some new age technology. You've missed a key sentence in that article. It doesn't matter if people try to get around the word filter. Most people, if they see that profanity is blocked, will either not try to circumvent it, or just remove the profanity.
