+1 on the spike strip.
+1 on joining existing pursits.
+1 on the car crashes - this would be a great feature if the player could go to the scene of a car crash and use the feature i mentioned above to keep the traffic moving around the accident.
This has been said before, but realism is the key There is always a police car at the scene of a car crash.
One other thing, how about a terrorism senario at the airport or a bank or somewhere, where the player has to go to the scene and a.) keep the public safe (by keeping them away) and b.) negotiate with the terrorists for a peaceful outcome, or take them down.
