Try using 1.0.7.0. I think lcpdfr doesn't work with 1.0.4.0. Not sure about 0.91 but give it a shot.

Okay I only have one solution for you. Uninstall the game, Windows live, and make sure your gta iv directory is CLEAR. Then reinstall the game, reinstall lcpdfr manually after playing 3-4 singleplayer missions, reinstall games for windows live. If the problem persists it may be your computer or the copy of the game you purchased is defective. Good luck. Don't use your backup. Just reinstall it fresh.

This might be just me, but I believe that iCEnhancer is the culprit. Happened with me on version 2.1. I run 1.0.7.0. That may also be the case. These mods weren't built for 1.0.7.0. mainly for 1.0.4.0

I think you are mistaken. xlive.dll prevents gfwl. It doesn't "start" the game.

If it's crashing... try removing mods. Car mods are usually the culprit.

All you have to do is google "How to unintsall programs on windows 7 (or whatever you have)

Download the setup from the website. Uninstall the one you have now and run the setup.

Try not to use other mods. Both of you should have the same mods to prevent crashes. Just try it out in multiplayer. It doesn't take long to understand. If I attempt to explain to you what it's like, I'm sure you'll become confused lol

Remember in v 0.95 rc2, they had flashlights on the guns, the ability to drink coffee, and the ability to blabber into a radio on foot? I miss that. Especially the coffee. It may sound weird but I get jealous how pedestrians can walk around drinking and we can't.

Try a fresh installation of GTA IV or remove all car mods if you can. Your computer is good enough to run gta IV. Make sure you don't have anything running in the background.

In that case, what about bank heists :o and robberies if you focus on realism

I have this issue too and I haven't found a single fix. Might as well play singleplayer :D

Can you post a screenshot of the map disappearing? Is the floor completely black?
