  1. I use dsound as my ASI loader, which should it be? Found it and moved the files. Gonna test and see if this fixed anything. EDIT: Didn't do anything. Just caused a crash before the game even loaded. Can you give me the exact file path, now that you know I use dsound? I'm not entirely confident I moved the correct files.
  2. Here's the thing, though; I can't get in-game long enough to pause it and begin a new game. It crashes that quickly. The most I could do would be to manually move my saves so it's forced to start a new game, but I don't know where Rockstar stores the GTA IV save files.
  3. It's possible I may have accidentally saved while on duty, but I've not modded cars I have saved - I had enough of Fatal Error SMPA60 in the past, and I take care not to make that mistake anymore.
  4. I have indeed; I purchased it and Episodes from Liberty City during the Rockstar Publisher Weekend on Steam.
  5. Whenever I load the game, it crashes to desktop. It gives no error message, no "Fatal Error" dialogue box, it just... Crashes. I've included the required files, do any of you guys know what's causing this? EDIT: I forgot this; all I have installed is LCPDFR, a couple of car models, Simple Native Trainer, and ELS.
  6. No offense, but while I am new to lcpdfr.com, I know how Bug Reporting works. Not trying to be rude, but there's no need for the tutorial.
  7. The taser installs fine for me, but as soon as I try to equip it through Alt+T (the command used in 0.95 RC2), nothing happens. Not sure if the command has been changed in 1.0 or not.
  8. Chasing them worked fine. I finally managed to get them stopped by parking my car perpendicular to them in front, and I got the driver arrested. It was only when the second Paramedic became marked as a suspect and drove off (and I subsequently tried to call in a pursuit) that I got the crash.
  9. Either I fucked up installing vdH or it doesn't work with LCPD:FR v1.0 I fucked it up. Still though, downed officers should be given higher priority than a downed civilian (ie, EMS Priority 1 rather than Priority 2/3).
  10. Perhaps instead of the horn going off, the siren does a Manual a couple of times?
  11. I really like this idea, actually. I like what's been done to the pursuit system in v1.0, but this'd make it even more realistic. A very large +Support from me.
  12. Currently, you're unable to report downed officers to dispatch using Alt+E and the paramedic system is shoddy at best, so the officer is just left to die on the ground. I'm suggesting that you be able to report downed officers in the same way you report downed suspects, giving the paramedics a precise location of the officer so they can actually do something. Thoughts?
  13. So I was patrolling in my good ol' LCPD Crown Vic when ALPR came up that a vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run. Low and behold, the vehicle was an ambulance. Anyways, I'm reporting two issues here: Emergency vehicles refuse to pull over (even if pressing shift while behind them) even if they're marked by ALPR. Attempting to begin a pursuit of an ALPR-triggered any emergency vehicle fleeing the police causes a CTD. I've attached AdvancedHook.log and LCPDFR.log as required. This issue kinda makes the mod undesirable as ALPR seems to like triggering on ambulances (this is only the first time I decided to chase them). If ALPR is an actual system (ie, logs vehicles leaving crime scenes, hitting peds, etc), then ALPR being triggered by ambulances is likely caused by the FDLC and MS Paramedics REALLY needing driving lessons. Any feedback and/or solutions are well appreciated. I'd like the paramedics that drove this ambulance, and subsequently ended the world, that they are not above the law.
  14. I'll see if that works, thanks. EDIT: Everything works fine now, thanks again.
  15. Hello all, Having recently purchased a legitimate copy of GTA IV for PC, I was very eager to install LCPD:FR. after playing with it on my old torrent. However, I noticed a bug that was also present on the torrent: Every non-emergency vehicle is a taxi cab. The only circumstances surrounding the problem that I can think of are the fact that I have Simple Native Trainer installed alongside LCPD:FR, as well as several vehicle skins. I've tried re-installing LCPD:FR, as well as re-installing GTA IV. Not sure what causes this, but here's the diagnostics dump: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c9m79zmmhy2xoju/Dump%20Log.txt I've also included the .txt as an attachment to this post, in case someone finds that way more convenient. Any help will be much appreciated.
