  1. Thanks, Indeed. PC is superior, that's why I purchased a brand new PC over the new XBOX 1. On the other hand, maybe one day we will see a legit police game for console.
  2. Ineseri, Before I begin, great post. Indeed we are a group of police enthusiasts. As I am in the process of becoming a sworn police officer myself, but you must realize that this type of game doesn't exist on consoles. The closest thing to it would be Police Force for PC. With that said, I am sure that the development of a game similar to lcpdfr will pull in a large audience. Clearly not as big as COD or BF2, but many. Thanks for your insight!
  3. Yeah I hope so. Other than that, the game runs great. Although I wouldn't mind fixing a little bit of the lag. Thanks again!
  4. It's safe to say that I am satisfied with the basic "right out of the box" product LCPDFR has to offer, however if I could pick something to add...it would be: -Better AI system -Make it easier to implement skins/mods -MORE MISSIONS and CALLS!
  5. Thanks icon, Trust me I know how to merge posts, I was a forum moderator for several games. =) Cheers!
  6. Well I reinstalled the game, now when I go into my common files, half of the stuff is missing? I cant run the compatibility thing for windows 8. The game loads, but where are the rest of my files.. Like GTA IV exe ETC? Thanks. *UPDATED* Well, the game works fine now, it's just I cant run the game directly through steam. I have to go to my steam folder and run the GTAIV.exe. I keep getting the error message missing executable file when I try to run the game through steam (Play) button. Oh well, at least I am able to play the game! -Oh no! we have another domestic! 10-24 in pursuit! =)
  7. Don't feel threatened, I pose no threats. Just very grateful that the developers made something I could only dream of. I play this over most modern games. I wonder why corporate game developers don't make a game similar to LCPDFR..they would surpass most game sales out there.
  8. Hi everyone, So unfortunately I'm facing a problem that is prohibiting me from playing. I can launch GTA IV, but once the slide show begins it shuts down and brings me to my desktop. I recently downloaded OpenIV, but I uninstalled it along with the mods. I think I might reformat my computer, but if you guys have a suggestion let me know. I think I've exhausted all remedies :/ Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the quick response! I'll give it a shot tomorrow morning, thanks!
  10. Hi everyone, Can anyone assist me in installing player skins for my officers? I am downloading a few from LCPDFR, but do I need OPEN IV? Can someone help me? Thanks!
  11. I guess dreams do come true, thanks Ref.
  12. So my imagination is unlimited when it comes to lcpdfr, so I was thinking of having a command where your officer can order a suspect out of their vehicle. I notice a lot of fleeing suspects tend to stay in their vehicles. Also, when your patrolling an area and someone engages in grand theft auto, you should be able to order the suspect out of the vehicle. Thanks.
  13. Hi everyone, I'm facing a problem when I initiate a traffic stop and access the computer. Once I get into the database I can't login nor can I leave the computer dashboard. This doesn't happen every time, but nevertheless it occurs frequently. This results in me pressing ESC and reloading my last save. Does anyone have any insight out there? Thanks.
  14. Good evening, I just want to thank the staff for developing something that I only had in my wildest dreams.i look forward to dropping off a well deserved contribution in the future. Thanks for your time and effort!
