I'm also struggling with the street race callout instantly finishing, as well as my guy randomly driving himself around until I open the API console and use the "heal" command (EDIT: I suspect this is because of too close to the barriers.). My tow trucks also seem to get stuck a lot. Maybe I should reinstall vDh Towing (lol)? Also, when I finish the tracker call, sometimes the blip never disappears off my map. I'm getting the loader.loader error a fair bit, too, usually in conjunction with calling the tow truck and having it get stuck for a few minutes. My guy gets frozen and I can't walk/drive, the error pops, and I'm pretty much stuck Alt+F4'ing out. Here's my last few logs, which all ended in loader.loader crashes. Most recent Yesterday (There's a few sessions in here, when it crashed I would just load a different save and start over) Thanks in advance for taking a look. Hopefully these issues can get solved :) Let me know if I can help.

Northern VA was just about cleared from the last bout we had, but we got hit pretty much all across MD/VA/DC with at least 12 inches overnight. Some places got 16.

Large shootouts causing crash/Object reference not set
homerunman replied to homerunman's topic in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
Bummed about the lt.caine models. I'm considering switching from the vapid slicktop to the vincent slicktop for an unmarked, anyone know any alternate vapid cruiser/merit patrol models? Trying to avoid using real-life cars, keeping game continuity and all that. EDIT: jk. DarthWound, saw the vehicles list in your sig. That pretty much clears up the car replacement question. Sweet list, btw. As an aside, do you know if the bugged windows persist across all the lt. caine/luxart mods? thanks. -
Large shootouts causing crash/Object reference not set
homerunman replied to homerunman's topic in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
The crashing has now expanded to all domestic disturbance and mugging calls, as well as traffic incidents where the suspect runs from a traffic stop and pulls an uzi. All these instances cause crashes 100% of the time. I've had to resort to setting myself to being perpetually "busy" and playing traffic cop, really boring and kinda unsatisfying. -
Hello - Latley I'm struggling with the stability of my game. I have added and modded a lot of game content recently, but I reverted everything back to normal and went mod by mod to see if I could find the problem myself without any luck. Whenever I respond to large shootouts (5-6+ perps, like the one in leftwood or at the hove beach train station), i crash out. Sometimes its when i get out of my car and go into cover, others when i just roll up, it seems sort of arbitrary. No other calls are giving me trouble, just these. I know it's not an install issue, or a system issue. I went through all the mods I've installed, but none of them seem to be causing it, despite the fact i didn't have this issue before installing any of them. Relavent system specs are in the log dump attatched. Mods list: Lil-rich/LMS Indicator Script; Luxart/Lt Caine Merit Patrol and Vapid Cruiser (in the correct police and police2 slots), EKALB's Vapid Cruiser Slicktop (in the noose slot), IVDashCam and Simple Native Trainer. I also had Kit's Strobes Mod, but its currently uninstalled. I've run the game with the shortcut, as admin, through steam, and through Razer Game Booster (lol). None of these show any difference in stability. On top of all that, ever since I installed LCPDFR, ingame ive been getting error messages saying "An unhandled exception occured in LCPDFR:object reference of an instance not set to an object" or something like that. This has persisted for something like 18 months across 2 different systems, im assuming its (relativley) harmless. Can anybody explain this one, cuz google cant. So, whos got some bright ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have an old list of RC1 keys, ill use that for now. I just wanted a little something more comprehensive than the short Shift+Tab list (authorize deadly force, for instance). I'm sure other people would appreciate it too. :D homer

Hey all - Just finished my install of 95RC2, and i noticed a hyperlink in the install that took me to a keyguide for RC2. I thought, "Oh, how wonderully helpful!" and followed it where it took me to a 502 Bad gateway page about 7 times in a row. Going into the Downloads section of the site, there's a key guide link under the DL links for rc1 and rc2, but is simply redirects to the rc2 DL page. Anyone know where i can grab a keyguide, or site admins, could you get on this? It would be nice to have a key guide and a working site for everyone. Thanks homer

0.95RC1 Problem/Glitch Unhandled Exception
homerunman replied to homerunman's topic in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
UPDATE*** Alright, with the devs taking a while to get back i just took things into my own hands and decided to downgrade to 91 until a stable 95 came out. I just searched the forums for "downgrade" and followed some instructions in a post to delete some lcpdfr files (everything in the scripts folder, and some dlls that came as part of the install. i also deleted the trainer.ini and dll that i had installed, as well as the dsound dll and the xlive dll.). When i went to install 91, it was fine (only installed dsound as opposed to dsound and xlive, i think that may have been my problem in the first place). Everything was peachy until i went to link my account through the install.exe, i typed my acct info and hit next and got hit with an error. It was a .NET framework box that said "Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you hit continue the app will ignore the error and attempt to continue. if you hit quit, it will quit. (duh.) "Problem negotiating with G17 Media." i hit the details dropdown, here are the contents. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.Exception: Problem neogitating with G17 Media at 1.LCPDFR-Obfuscated-0.1(String A_0) at 1.LCPDFR-Obfuscated-0.0(String A_0, String A_1) at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.4(Object A_0, WizardPageConfirmEventArgs A_1) at AeroWizard.WizardPage.OnCommit() at AeroWizard.WizardPage.1() at AeroWizard.WizardControl.NextPage(WizardPage nextPage) at AeroWizard.WizardControl.1(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4214 (VistaSP2GDR.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- MergedInstaller Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/homerunman/Desktop/InstallLCPDFR.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4214 (VistaSP2GDR.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4205 (VistaSP2GDR.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 3.5.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.5.30729.1 built by: SP CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/3.5.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Design Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Design/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Design.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. 0.95RC1 Problem/Glitch Unhandled Exception
homerunman replied to homerunman's topic in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
It might also be worth noting that i installed it after lcpdfr (i ran it a few times before installing the trainer) but both before and after the trainer install i received to the same error under the same conditions. -
0.95RC1 Problem/Glitch Unhandled Exception
homerunman replied to homerunman's topic in GTA IV & LCPDFR Support
On this copy of GTA, yeah, only Simple Native Trainer. Admins said it wouldn't cause any conflicts, and i only run them one at a time (close SNT before starting lcpdfr, and going off duty before opening the trainer back up). You said it had something to do with the foot pursuit, but it happens whenever, like when im driving about waiting for callouts, or in the middle of missions. does that make any sense to you? -
Whilst playing the game, after 10-20 minutes of gameplay i get a helptext message that says something like "lcpdfr error: unhandled exception. an unhandled exception has occured within the lcpdfr script. object reference not set to object" after that i have problems with basically everything, from pursuits to callouts, not being able to frisk, some missions not properly functioning, taser not working, randomly going off duty, etc, ect. I'm wondering what this is and if some of these problems could be remedied by downgrading to 0.91. The forum wouldn't let me post my logs in the post (too long), so ive had to include them as attatchments. Thanks in advance for trolling through them to help. (sorry to make you dl them too)
-
Will do. Thanks!
-
and for the conflicting keybindings i assume i should either not use or reprogam the bindings. Thanks much!
-
gotcha. in order to use the trainer ingame alongside lcpdfr what would i have to do?
-
awesome, ill do that. thanks! wouldnt that mean that the lcpdfr key bindings are disabled though? how would i be able to execute mod commands (ie call for backup) with them off?
-
Hello- I have a basic question that i feel n00bish for not knowing off the top of my head, but if I want to install simple native trainer on the same copy of gta as i have lcpdfr, do i need multiple scripthook.dll's/xlivless's/etc.? thanks in advance
