  1. Can i add an <amount> to charges so they get a fine in addition to their arrest or no?
  2. I like what I see but unfortunately this is lacking quite alot of charges and the wording is odd. I'll keep this in view tho for updates.

  4. I think its this mod but EVERY time there is a garbage truck driving normally and i drive near it, its a pursuit. Every single time. Can you stop that from occurring?
  5. That would be a good way to go about it. It wouldn't be a supreme chance but its still something to be cognizant about and rethink your tactics. 5% might not seem like a lot but with how many tasings you do it can add up fast. Likely how the ini should be configured is Taser modifier in decimal format so 2.0 for baseline. Then do LastTazeDeathChance*SuccessionModifier = NewDeathChance. Which might look like 0.025*2.0=0.05. Granted my coding experience is Unity C# so I'm not too familiar with gta5 coding.
  6. If you could implement repeated taserings causing issues that'd be nice. I'd recommend a baseline of 2.5% and then further taserings increase it by about double. https://cvpcs.asu.edu/sites/default/files/content/projects/Taser Media CPP.pdf See here how the first two taserings on page 14 has an increase of about 200% give or take. Baseline fatal chance is 2.5 as its enough to make gameplay interesting, irl the chance is 0.25% according to a DOJ survery.
  7. Is there plans to add a configurable chance to accidentally kill them? Tasers are safer than a gun but they can cause complications at times although that's usually due to over using it. It would give punishment to just spamming taser as well. Also how did you get the taser to look so good? I have the x26 taser mod and its not as detailed as that for me.
  8. trainers are always buggy in my experience so this is great that it's simple and hooks into rage.

  10. That's likely the best way. I'm looking through it myself and the closest i can find under it is EMSFunctions.RespondToLocation(Rage.Vector3, bool?) like you mentioned. The only issue is i'm not sure what bool does. Does it call fire, does it call ems, does it call both? i just don't know.

  13. Ah understandable thank you. Actually is there a way to figure out what the static methods of plugins are? It would help with adding custom lines.
  14. Yes those are seperate actions sorry i should of specified and certainly here's my log. I called air unit multiple different times so it should be most recent in the log. I'm also including my actions xml to see if that is also the issue. RagePluginHook.log actions.xml
  15. It's recognizing the request but nothing is going on. I have it set up like this: <Target>BetterEMS.Actions.Backup.EMS</Target> <Target>HeliAssistance.Actions.Backup.Air</Target> but nothing happens. I dont get the generic response which means it's trying to run it but alas nothing. (Speaking of which could you see if there's a "please repeat" line for when it doesnt understand or atleast add a hud line)
  16. Is there a way to get it to page better EMS and helicopter assistance? it doesnt seem to want to work with a simple name change.
  17. Update on my situation: I was just not saying it right sorry for the trouble. Could you possibly make a guide sometime about adding custom actions as well? (Like spike strips, roadblocks, etc from ultimate backup or so on or really any additional stuff and so on.
  18. For me for some reason it's not recognizing my voice or something. I can say "Dispatch can i get a plate check" and it says "Acknowledged" or etc and nothing is happening. Am i being dumb (never used a voice addon before) or is there something else at play?
  19. In a moment of half melted from the heat brilliance I saw what this addon needs. Cruise control. It's near impossible to maintain speed while driving and i almost always end up going over when pulling away from a stop sign. I have a slight way it might be handled. When KEY is pressed it takes the vehicles current speed and saves it (most likely rounding down or up for simplicity sake) . Then it outputs throttle in response to how far it is from the desired speed. If current speed is less than desired speed then throttle increases based on how far the gap is and the closer current speed is to desired speed the less throttle it gets (To avoid spamming throttle). Not sure how hard this is as i'm toasted from the sun so this might not make any sense but i see alot of addons for it so should be possible.
  20. Well while you're probably right on biased (who wouldn't want to promote their mod?) I also think you gave BVA a fair shot and appreciate that. Since you mentioned seatbelts planned for the future I think I'll be swapping over since you plan to add that(i always liked the delay of getting out of the car with seatbelt on from BVA, it makes a difference in chases but is realistic. Plus fun when you go flying as you forgot to put it on).
  21. Can i get some community input? I use basic vehicle actions but this also looks pretty convincing. Can i get some input what would be best?
  22. I didn't even think about using stolen government property that's a good idea for right now. Anyway keep up the good work and good luck surviving your long shifts during these chaotic times.
  23. I'd like to request stolen police vehicle added to the list of charges as that isn't present. I feel having a stolen police vehicle would rank higher than a normal stolen vehicle charge.
  24. Thank you. Other than that your mod is 10/10 and i love using it. Now i feel like a cop with a realistic amount of guns and not an arsenal like before.
