Possible to add in 3rd type of patrol car?
So we all know that police and police2 are the cars that patrol liberty city. My question is: is it possible to add in a patrol3? Are there vehicle.dat lines that could be edited to add in a third model seamlessly to patrol the games with the other two types of cars?

Just a glitch not so much a bug
Hi, Was patrolling alderney and was called to a drug deal in progress. I responded to the circle of houses on the north side of alderney and went to where the call was. However, when I got there there were no suspects. I spent ten minutes literally tracing the circle back and force to make sure I had not missed anything and nobody was there. First and only time this has happened; just thought I would mention it.

Felony Stops
I posted earlier this week about some suggestions I have for LCPDFR but forgot a big one: felony stops! There are multiple police situations where a lone officer wouldn't pull over a car and just stroll up to the window, but would call in additional units to effect a felony stop. I was wondering if this could realistically be implemented into LCPDFR somehow? For instance when you pull over a felony suspect you can toggle certain keys and it will call in additional units to take up position behind you until you approach the car. Even better would be a command system where you could order the suspect out of the vehicle and onto his knees. Just a thought.

Updated Evi's Sheriff Ped
- 2,932 downloads
- Version 1.0
This is an updated version of Evi's Sheriff Beta Ped. I updated this ped to give the player more variety in the gameplay. I updated both the green and white shirts to include a master deputy version with one chevron and a corporal deputy version with two chevrons for both colors. I also added in an extra head to give the model both the regular haircut and a "high and tight" version.- 11 comments

How to turn off all ambient police activity?
I don't have brave heart's policing script and I get ambient scenarios. Is there a command line I can add into the LCPDFR INI file?

Is there a way to tone down the chance of pursuits?
I would like to explore this as well, as I want a pursuit to be a surprise, not the norm.

How to turn off all ambient police activity?
Hi, So I am looking to get rid of all ambient police scenarios as I prefer a different play style then always action happening. I set the ini settings for random ambient events to 0. While I am no longer getting other ambient events, I am still getting AI police pursuits initiating at random times. How do I turn this off?

Realistic Calls/Reporting suggestion
That's the great thing about the mod; it can be edited and altered to suit a variety of play types. Personally I like realistic immersion as well as do a lot of my other buddies. Obviously part of the role play experience is being vigilant and proactive, however this is also a frequent call that departments receive. Honestly, nothing in this game can be too detailed for me because this is the closest thing to a police simulator on the market and that is exactly what I and others are looking for. I actually de-activate callouts that seem too over the top (like large scale shootouts, very very unlikely in real life). The fact is most of the players probably don't realize that most police work is 99% boring with 1% of sheer terror. I try to emulate that. It's not for everyone, but it's the way I like to play. A report system could be included and if you don't like it then you should be able to deactivate that part of the mod. Like I said, something for everyone....

Realistic Calls/Reporting suggestion
Braveheart's script does not use integrated API. It's like responding to two different dispatch systems and breaks the immersion for me.

Realistic Calls/Reporting suggestion
I dont post here often but I have played LCDFR since the very first release. I always strive for realism and I have suggested the following to the modding community who are using API to make custom scripts, but I wanted to make my suggestions here also: - Neighbor dispute (this could occur in a building or outside on the street. When you arrive they could be fighting or just arguing and you can use a command key to disperse both parties after interviewing). - Shoplifting (This could also be done in a couple ways). A lot of times security will call the police before the suspect leaves the store so you could set it so when the call starts there is a countdown to when the suspect exits the store. If police get there before then they can pounce when he/she exits and if they take too long it becomes about BOLOing for the vehicle or suspects on foot. -Suspicious occupied vehicle - What I would like to see is a call for a suspicious vehicle where you can pull in and pull over the vehicle and talk to the occupants with an increased chance there will be drugs or a wanted person. - Suspicious person - This can come in a variety of ways. Whether it be loitering or someone walking around looking through the windows of a house, there could be multiple call types where someone is just doing something generally suspicious and the officer is called to investigate. - Wanted person - A call where someone has called 911 to report a wanted person and you have to go apprehend the individual. - Agg batt/Murder - I would like to see some sort of a homicide call. - Variety of calls where reports need to be taken. I can't stress enough how many police calls are delayed thefts, delayed burglaries, etc. Therefore you can have these incidents where all the officer does is respond and talk to the victim to take notes for a report. - Report system: not a call specifically but the ability to type a report after responding to an incident or having an arrest. This could be done by hot keying a button while sitting in your car where the officer takes several seconds of in game time to type a report.

[WIP] [beta] WoutersCallouts - More callouts for LCPDFR
First off, Let me say that out of all the API plugin mods I believe this one to have the most potential. I like that you have kept a lot of the calls realistic. I do not use the other callout mods because large scale shootous and prisoner escort missions are just not common in real life and I strive to modify my game towards realism. Having said that, it is clear that you have a great grasp on coding. Therefore, I have listed some callout suggestions that are in line with common types of calls that police face. - Neighbor dispute (this could occur in a building or outside on the street. -Suspicious occupied vehicle - Right now you have the suspicious vehicle where the bomb squad i called out. In reality these incidents are few and far between. I actually disable this call right now because I like realism. However, what I would like to see is a call for a suspicious vehicle where you can pull in and pull over the vehicle and talk to the occupants with an increased chance there will be drugs or a wanted person. This is a far more frequent type of call in real life. - Agg batt/Murder - I would like to see some sort of a homicide call and I know you are working on it and stability issues. Lagging in 1.0b
This is the same for me. I have a computer that is meant to tear apart GTA IV and all of a sudden I'm getting lag with 1.0b. 1.0, 1.0a all work fine but with 1.0b I have problems.
