July 2025: Currently I am NOT active in GTA/LSPDFR but as far as I am aware, this plugin still works as is. Unfortunately without a working game and no time to code anymore I can no longer support my developed plugins. All my code is available on GitHub if people want to steal / update the plugins themselves. 


Again, something I wrote that I wasn't going to "publish" - but maybe of use to somebody... 
 
This was conceived by the great LSPDFR streamer @gmantonz, who not only came up with the idea and requirements but helped test it actually worked 🙂
 
What is it?
RecovFR is a backup and restore script to help you get back into the game after a crash. It backs up and restores a load of stuff at the push of a button. It works separately to LSPDFR so can be used independently. 
 
No seriously, what is it? 
OK - so you are driving around Blaine County, in your favourite car and your favourite suit when BAMB... your game crashes. You have to get the game back up and running, get dressed, get your car, get back to Blaine County to start over. Annoying - right? 
 
Now if you are live streaming, you also have an audience to entertain while you fix stuff - that is what this was written for - to get you back in the action quicker before people start leaving you to watch "Fall Guys".
 
But it can be used by us normal folk too... For example I can get my game set up how I always want to start (date, time, weather, location, etc.) and when I start the game, press a button and there I go. 
 
Current features:
Backup stored in xml file, so even after full game crash or exit, backup can be restored Backup the following states at the press of a button or automatically (if enabled): Current character location Current clothing and accessories Current weapons, components and ammo Wanted level Health and armor Player invincibility* Current vehicle (if in vehicle) Last vehicle and location (if on foot) Vehicle colors, livery and dirt level License Plate and style Vehicle health Vehicle invincibility* Current time in game Current weather conditions Freeze time and weather on restore* Set snow on terrain on restore* Restore last backup at press of button Ability to turn on/off features in .ini file or via in game menu

Known issues: 
Currently does not restore the character model as I could not get this to work properly for custom (mp_f_freemode and mp_m_freemode) models unless you wanted to be invisible.  There may be a performance hit (FPS loss / brief pause) during auto backup, but can be disabled if not required.   Trainers will conflict and override - for example if you have fixed weather in trainer, this will fail to change it.

I felt that the current Grammarpolice commands were not immersive enough, so I added real California police codes to it. Refer to the readme on how to install.

PLD–Player Location Display is a script modification that displays the player's current location (including street name or intersection, area name, and region) at the bottom-left corner of the user's screen.
 
DESCRIPTION
− PLD displays the player’s current in-game location on the screen.
− Location includes street name or intersection, district name, and region.
− PLD also displays the current in-game time.
− PLD allows the user to toggle the size of the radar and provides some informative multiplayer** features.
 
NOTES
− Consult the FEATURE INFO file to learn more about PLD and its features.
− It is recommended that you disable subtitles (PAUSE > SETTINGS > DISPLAY > SUBTITLES) when using PLD to prevent overlap.
− **Multiplayer is understood to be a 3rd party multiplayer mod, such as FiveReborn.
 
INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place the .asi and .ini files provided in the download inside your main GTAV game directory.
− 2. Modify the .ini file as you see fit.
− 3. Start your game.

This mod simulates the flight patterns of Southern California (more specifically, Los Angeles area) law enforcement air support helicopters. That is, they will orbit around a target entity or position instead of just hovering above. A spotlight will track the subject when night-time. You may also call for a backup heli anytime while on-duty.

Make sure to put HeliAssistance.dll and HeliAssistance.ini and HeliAssistance.pdb into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Make sure you have the latest RageNativeUI installed. And make sure you have Spotlight installed.
 
API for Developers (for usage with v2.4.2)
Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

Introduction
Do you also miss that feature from LSPDFR 0.3 where you had a keybinding to start a random callout? This plugin brings it back! 
Now you don't need to go to the interaction menu to start a callout anymore.
You can also change your availability by pressing Z by default.
 
Features
- Start a random callout by pressing a key
- Force end a callout by pressing a key
- Set your callout availability to available and unavailable by pressing a key
- An on-screen text box that tells you if you are available for calls or not (You can disable this. if you disable this you will get a notification instead)
- Player Location Display compatibility so they don't overlap (You can set this to true in the ini file)
- Police SmartRadio integration to change your availability via the radio, and also starting a callout via the radio
 
Using the plugin
You can start a random callout while on duty by pressing X by default. Set your availability by pressing Z by default. There are also some settings you can change in the included .ini file.
If you installed the plugin and go on duty, a little box will show on your screen from Police SmartRadio. Here you can add the 2 buttons this plugin adds to the radio.
 
Installation
Drag and drop everything inside the “Grand Theft Auto V” folder to your main GTA V directory.
