I just replaced my GTX 970 SLIS with a RTX 2070 Super and am experiencing the same issue. Im able to get over 90 FPS but after i force duty i get 30-60fps. Im pretty disappointed since i was getting better fps with my older cards. I optimized the graphic settings through NVIDIA experience and im using almost half as much of the card memory compared to my older cards so im confused as well to why my fps is so low.

I was also having this issue with 3.0 and ran the Windows sound problems troubleshooter, which just reset all my settings and it fixed the issue. Previously, I was only getting audio for 1 or 2 of the call outs, definitely an odd issue.

I would love modding for this game to take off but Mafia 2 didnt have as much as Mafia 1 so Im not sure it will happen. Im sure there will be some mods but as far as actual vehicle mods and a NOPDFR mod... perhaps. I would really just like a mod that allows the lights to be on when your outside of the car. Has anyone found a work around for this? Also has anyone found any other emergency vehicles in the game such as an ambulance or firetruck?

I have already pre-loaded the game! I am disappointed by the 30 FPS cap and the late announcement of it but I hope they release the patch shortly for the PC version. The specs seem pretty demanding for this game so Im anxious to see what FPS I would even get. Im really hoping to play the game before I lose power or worse due to the Hurricane :(

I personally think that some interpret the second amendment too literally. You have to keep in mind that it was written in a much different time and place. Its 2016 the United States has the worlds strongest military and competent law enforcement agencies that can respond to active shooter situations in minutes. Lets be rational here we already have trained professionals to ensure that the public is safe we don't need civilians with minimal to no training everywhere with loaded guns. Accidents happen and it breaks my heart when i see them on news children killing their friends or siblings or even their parents. How do you even explain to your child that their mother or father is dead because of them? And then you have armed civilians trying to play hero it doesn't always have a happy ending I recall the incident in Wal-Mart where an armed civilian attempted to engage the guy who had just killed two Las Vegas police officers and was killed by his female accomplice. If he wouldn't have acted he would still be alive today, and that is my point we cant have civilians blinding running into situations that they have no training nor knowledge of. If your against gun control that is fine, calm down the government isn't going to take your guns away and most likely wont make it harder for you to get new ones. If your for gun control that is fine too, just dont expect changes to come quick or drastically. I personally own a gun so Im not against guns i keep it at home for my personal protection, it never leaves my home. I purchased the gun because I lived in a rough neighborhood with frequent shootings and my home had been burglarized previously. I have moved but i kept the gun because bad things can happen anywhere and i want to be prepared. I think we need to find a common ground in this debate and to me its a nation wide on ban assault rifles such as the used in this shooting. To me there is no rational or acceptable reason why a civilian needs to have a rifle in our society today. These weapons can inflict catastrophic damage in a matter of seconds as we have seen in recent history.

That is weird sometimes mine will crash right after i go on duty but other times i can play for hours with no issues. You could try increasing the virtual memory on your hard drives. I think they helped for me.

I have been experiencing these crashes intermittently as well. It could be that you have too many vehicle mods installed or dont have enough ram. Try restarting the game and closing out all other programs and if you keep getting the crash I recommend installing smaller vehicle mods or removing some. I haven't been able to narrow the crashes down to anything specific heres my setup: I5-3570k 8gb Ram GTX970 I have been using resource monitor while im playing and noticed that im usually using 70-75% of my ram.

The majority of the victims have been identified and luckily I didn't know any of them but one of the victims lived in my city and was attending the same college as me he was only 22. Even after the tragic event and against the advice of the mayor our community gathered at various places in Orlando to remember those that lost their lives and to support each other one of which was another gay club in Orlando that made the decision to remain open because they didn't want the terrorists to win. It was a soft target there isnt much security to speak of at the club with exception of off duty officers working a detail which there was one one officer last night. Maybe if there were more officers working or if security was tighter more lives could have been saved or this could have been prevented. I dont think there is anything we can do to prevent these events from happening besides tightening security at places where large groups of people gather. Which is almost impossible to do.

According to the latest news conference it appears the weapons were purchased within the past week legally. The shooter was previously investigated for ties to ISIS and a suicide bombing but was not currently under investigation. I think question here is why was he able to purchase the weapons with no issue?

Well I dont think its fair to crizice the officer at this state he was working an off duty detail at a club clearly he was not prepared for this to happen no one was. The shooter had planned this and had an AR-15 the officer only had his service handgun im assuming. Clearly this was not a fair fight and I think his actions still saved lives.

Keep in mind this was a LGBT themed club I doubt many of the patrons own guns or even have concealed weapons permits. And there was an officer on scene that almost immediately engaged the suspect. According to local media he was employed by a security company and provided security for a courthouse, if you can believe that.

That is what I'm wondering as well because we know an officer was working an off duty detail at the club so he should have been at the front door or atleast security should have been. So we dont know how he got into the club with the rifle or devices or even how the shooting started. I'm sure it will all come out eventually. Additionally according to local media his father stated the shooting was motivated due to his disapproval of homosexuality.

Thank you I dont think there is but still waiting to hear. Its the number that shocks me so much, and thats with an officer being on scene and immediately engaging the shooter after he started shooting with. I cant imagine how high the death toll would have been had the officer not been there and without the quick response from other officers and agencies.

Today we hit a new low and im in shock as this tragedy occurred in my community. Ive been there and i have friends that have been. This could have been me or someone i know.
