I'm having the same issue here. Went with a fresh install in a new directory, added a saved game from the interwebs (I did complete it a while back but since lost my files :/ ). It starts fine to a new game, but as soon as I add the xlive.dll file, crash to desktop :( Error from xlive_trace.log: 10/07/2013 19:42:29.005 XUserSetContextEx 10/07/2013 19:42:29.005 XGetOverlappedExtendedError

Did one while I was in college...he pulled over a guy who was swerving all over the road trying to pull a condom off his unit b/c he had just dropped off a hooker...the cop didn't have the heart to give him a ticket (that and he was laughing too hard)

Do you have them on completely separate partitions? If so, make sure you have backed up any data you need from the Windows 8 partition, delete the partition, and then expand your Windows 7 partition over that area. If it isn't in a separate partition, things can get tricky. If this is so, let me know and I'll give you some advanced instructions for handling that :)

Anything by abraxa or braveheart gets my vote. Although *most* everything here seems to work fairly well together, the biggest issue I've had is with not having enough keys for all the mods I have installed :P

Long time lurker, I finally decided to register and perhaps eventually help out with all the great stuff on here! Anyway, by trade I'm a web developer/programmer, and on the side I also do a good bit of PC repair / upgrades and all that fun stuff. I just finished reinstalling GTAIV and have decided to go exclusively with LCPDFR mods since they're just better, and they work together well :) See ya'll around the forums!
