yes i agree, it depends how someone points out the mistake, but i dont see a problem with someone that is knowledgeable of what parts a dpt uses, and corrects the author. unless the author calls it san andreas/los santos, or says it fictional/based off of etc.

and can u link me to where toy showed it wasnt a mistake? from what ive seen he said it was and that he had fixed it.

and @t0y idk if its still like that, but in this pic the alpr mount is clipping thru the sl modules

Didn't notice that, thank you. And what hah is trying to say is especially with departments like LAPD and NYPD where even the slightest inaccuracy everyone cries is a lot of people pretend to be experts and give dumb advice, and point out things. For example the comments before where he pointed out two "inaccuracies" one which I already told him I fixed and was indeed silly, but the other just simply wasn't inaccurate, things like that are incredibly annoying just random comments claiming something is wrong when it really isn't or pointing out the tiniest mistakes that ive either fixed or proven right and we all know people like that on this website. Some people even go through images just to find something wrong with them and pretending they are experts. Constructive criticism is extremely different from 90% of the comments on this website not only for LAPD and NYPD and big departments like that.

It's the wrong font =(

CA license plates use Penitentiary Gothic http://www.leewardpro.com/articles/licplatefonts/font-penitentiary.html

It's also extremely out of proportion. The exempt lettering should be moved down a bit and the plate numbers and letters should be squished down a good bit. A good way to practice proportions on something like this is to have a picture as an under layer and to allign your work with the actual picture.

To be fair, I sure wish you'd start working on those older LAPD Vics. You removed the download links for the cool Vics that the LAPD still use.

And the 1999 Vics as well...

I'd like to see those Vics brought back. Seeing as we've debated in the past you may remember I'm definitely not a classic car person, but I'm drawn to your older gen Vics...

I removed the models I posted due to lack in quality and proper setup. I'll come back to the modern Crown Victoria once Cj24's base model is finished and ready for use.

*MX-7000

They have loads, gang unit appears to have the most, or the most slicktop cruisers. LASD still has a plethora, though. Literally a row of MX cruisers outside of my local station.

MX Whatever...

This pic suprised me from a few months ago:

lapd.jpg?quality=85&strip=all

Weird mix of 2016/17 FPIUs with valors, and then CVPIs with MX7000s 2 generations of lightbars behind.

Still had Caprices in 2012.

95-96. LAPD doesn't have any of the Holden Caprices on the streets.

Weirdos... Dont they have a large enough budget to phase out the old cars?

They have good taste.

Them and sheriff both run their cars into the ground. Afaik, they don't just retire at 100k miles or w/e.
