Wildlife Complaint
RCMP were called to a rural siding, where a Community on Patrol member contacted them with a complaint of a man walking around yelling at wildlife, particularly cursing at ducks.
"The man allegedly was shouting profanities about waterfowl, ultimately threatening to shoot at them." Corporal Steven Lemso says.
"It's not illegal to hunt, but with the state of most of our waterfowl, we're obligated to protect them."
The man was arrested and charged for disturbing the peace, and uttering threats. RCMP have also contacted conservation officers to increase patrols in the area.
