RCMP were called to the arts museum just after 5 PM, after two children were reported to be missing. The museum staff ultimately ended up placing the location on lockdown until RCMP arrived.
Shortly after arrival, RCMP members were able to successfully locate the two children within the museum, hiding underneath one of the artifacts.
No charges have been pressed, and RCMP remind parents to be wary of their children at all times, and not to let them leave your sight.
"Within Arms Reach is a program we adopted and provide to parents whenever these things happen." Constable Justin Knot stated.
"The program is designed to ensure that parents are given resources and information on how to keep their children safe from harm, and keep them within their view at all times."
The parents and museum refused to comment.
