As far as I know Bugs pulled all permissions (Even those who already had it) last night and now Gump, and a lot of other people, can't release anything until they find some new parts.

I only know 3 people who have it, Me, Maurice and Gump lol. Not sure when he is releasing, last I heard it's sometime within the next few days!

Oh for christ sake, every time something beautiful comes along someone has to fuck it up. This should be another lesson for the community and just not have anything to do with bugs. He seems to pull this little charade every few months. I'm not even modelling cars for V and get tired of it.

Yeah, as I said, I don't completely know (He may have gotten special perms), but I completely agree, we need to stop relying on his parts so often, which is happening more and more now a days

I wouldn't want him to get into any trouble for handing it out if he hasn't gotten the perms for it. I was just looking forward to the first vehicle in V with an actual K9 cage and what not.

You watch, in the next little while we'll get teased with a "new" Tahoe being made by a certain someone who will tease everyone for the next 6 months, destroy it with pony shit and then not be released.

yes lets blame bugs for having his private models leaked, lets blame bugs for his "friends" backstabbing him. lets blame bugs for not being trusting to most people after having his models stolen. yes its definitely bugs's fault

I just find it kinda funny that people are so protective over parts and models that don't even exist in real life. Geez...

it doesnt matter if it "exists in real life" it matters that we spend our time into the parts and models. we made these parts, we have the right be protective over them

It does matter because if something stole a possession of mine in real life I'd be a heck of a lot more mad than something virtual. You certainly do have the right to be protective, but if you're going to do so don't tease the community with a release that will never actually happen.

lol, ok so because its "virtual" it has no value. so i guess the time and work was also virtual? your argument sounds like someones grandfather that know nothing about computers

Regardless of if it existed or not, it is extremely silly. There's no community for GTA mods, just a monotony of drama over permissions and locked parts. While I don't necessarily agree with Bxbugs' decision, I can understand why he has chosen to do what he has.

Some of the blame does have to go to Bxbugs though. Not all of it, but some of it. He was the one who chose to entrust his models/parts to these people who then backstabbed him.

Please tell me where I said that it has no value? Read my comments before you type. All I said was if something was stolen in real life I would be more angry. I understand that virtual things have value all I'm saying is some people take that value a little too far and get obsessive over it.

Please tell me where Gump has ever stolen, leaked, back stabbed, proven he is untrustworthy or in any other way fucked someone over? And what you just said has happened to Bugs before, yet he clearly hasn't learnt to stop handing his "private" shit out. No matter who makes a model or part, there is no guarantee that someone won't rip it or other wise hand it out. But constantly putting your parts out there for the community and then taking them away over and over again is not the way to solve it or right in any way.

On one hand, yes, virtual work is the same as "real" things in terms of legality and such.

On the other, it seems that some modelers are completely unable to differentiate real life and the virtual world and make an enormous deal out of absolutely everything and anything.

Technically no you don't. You don't own the original products nor the parts ripped from other games to make parts for V so therefore under that assumption most people are all technically stealing from the companies that thought of, produced and otherwise put those parts in the real life markets.

If Bugs TRULY didn't want his mods leaked, he'd stop sending them to people.

If you make a part and release it public then you cant revoke perms idgaf if you are the pope. All these "decent" modelers these days have big egos and they are clearly getting in the way. Not calling anybody out....(Bxbugs123)
