First off I like how you say "we" you do not own them other then the ones you purchased. I got the files from a friend of the owner and creator of them. And second of all the person above bought them as well. You act like your a big shot because you had them before everyone else, well guess what other people are able to buy them and convert them. I have proof of my purchase so don't tell me what I can and cannot do with models I purchased. I got permission from the creator to have them!

Actually I never put this up intending on being a show off. I was in the same position as you before I got them. I just thought it would be nice to show them off. To be honest if I could I am someone who would release them because I know a lot of people would love to have them!

Technically, anyone is legally able to have this mod in their possession. You DO NOT own the rights to this model. You CAN NOT copyright. Pierce owns the copyright to the model and everything, as well as where the model came from. You are creating a copy of their product, which if they wanted to, file a lawsuit against your asses for it but they don't because it is for gaming purposes and glad to see people using their product. When you try to copyright the model, that is when shit hits a fan...... and not just a small house hold fan, I mean a jet engine.

Think of buying a car in real life, you can modify the body, wheels, grill, interior, engine, and etc and the company can't do a damn single thing. He Paid $350 Bucks for that model. i think he can do what ever the hell he damn well pleases with it after that..

Pierce Manufacturing also has the legal rights to it's products, ie. all of "your" Pierce Models that haven't been released to the public. If anyone "legally possesses" this model, it's Pierce MFG. So, unless you have purchased the rights to every single vehicle model that you have, would that not mean that you are in turn falsely representing Pierce by dictating who does and does not have the legal right to use their products? That being said, isn't this recreation of their product a violation of copyright in the first place?  I can't imagine what would happen if Pierce was made aware of people claiming copyright on their product.

It is unfortunate and a true shame that models like this cannot be shared throughout the community for all to enjoy.
