I've tried installing LSPDFR on a clean install of GTA V twice now, and I get the same result of crashing to the desktop after the GTA 5 window pops open for about 5 seconds.

I have no extra plugins and GTA 5 launches perfectly without RAGE.

Any help would be appreciated!

Open commandline.txt in your GTA V folder; delete everything in it, save & close.

Tip: Don't click on options you don't know anything about.

I deleted the contents of the text file but I still get the same outcome. Would you like a new log?

Here it is..

RagePluginHook.log

Go into the Rage Settings -> Game Settings -> Command Line Switches.
Look for "Force Windowed mode." Check it.
Rename your mods folder to _mods. 

 

Then, reinstall DirectX & restart your Computer after. 
If you use some kind of visual mod, delete it. 

 

Also, remove your GPU driver (nVidia or Radeon) and do a clean reinstall. That usually works.

Just Lanch Gta 5 First Then Once Clicked story mode press rage then it should work.

Why does this work? Is there something wrong with my installation? It's annoying that I still don't know the issue lol, but oh well...
