ZModeler Not Importing "police.wtd"

Featured Replies

Hello there.

I'm VERY New to modeling and I have a program called Z-Modeler

I have a problem importing things. I imported police.wft into ZModeler and it worked

fine. Then I tried to import police.wdt and it didn't show up, the file

was on my desktop but it didn't show up. Can someone help me??

There isn't a step by step guide that covers everything you need to do but there are guides/tutorials for certain things on here, youtube and maybe other sites. For instance how to map ELS. The whole process of modeling is to complex and long to write it into a guide. It would just be to hard to do. Patience is your friend because its very hard at first but after you start understanding it it gets easier. If your serious about learning then you will take the hours and hours it takes to learn and your going to mess up and make mistakes. Play around with zmodeler, learn what the buttons do. I taught myself how to use zmodeler and model but it wasn't easy. If you have a specific question, feel free to ask but stuff like how do I make a lightbar is to complex to answer. Good Luck!

And like the other guy said, you can't import .WTD files. You have to export the textures from the wtd using openiv and then import them into the materials editor in zmodeler along with the vehshare files BEFORE you import the police wft or any other models
