Hi all,

 

I am not the best when it comes to ELS for GTA V. I don't know a great deal about it and was wondering if somebody would be able to assist.

 

I have followed the installation steps to install ELS into GTA V, however upon booting up and using the command on RPH ('ReloadAllPlugins') it's as if ELS does not start up. When I get into ELS enabled vehicles they don't appear to work either. I have ensured that the vehicle configuration files for ELS are contained in the correct ELS folder within the GTA directory.

 

If somebody can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Els is a advanced hook plugin so you can’t reload it with the rage menu.

are your lights not bright or does the taillights and headlights turn on only

in open iv do you have asi loader installed?

Hi to confirm...

 

OpenIV.ASI and ASI Loader are installed.

 

So far any vehicle used only taillights and headlights turn on. The .xml configs are in the pack_default folder for ELS.

alright i had this issue before i downloaded a visual c++ from Microsoft from i forgot which one it was

try downloading visual (c++ from 2010

Ahh okay, I thought that was all up to date. I will do that now.

No that's on by default when the vehicle starts. I can't get any form of lights from the vehicle. Now I can only activate a siren.

Other vehicles appear to not have any red light and no vehicle lights in general.

and you have the els config name named up to the same vehicle?

go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them then restart your pc and try loading into the game again and see if that works.

Hi, 

 

Again the lights dont flash and no lights appear to work. Trying a restart now.

After restarting and following your above steps this still does not work.

That did nothing either.

I have even downloaded a completely different ELS enabled vehicle model and it still is failing to work. Displaying some lights but nothing is actually working.

SOLVED.... I was clearly being stupid. I've spent too long looking at files today!

 

I was missing scripthook which I downloaded and never installed -_-. Thanks for your help @matthew skead
