Realistic Time Cycle v5 [Help plz]

Featured Replies

Okay the graphics are f***ing outstanding with just these 2 adjustments on visualsettings and timecyc, lol but only problem I'm having is the lighting. I don't mind the bright @$$ red/blue police lights, to me that just looks more realistic, but all the other lighting is way too bright for me. Street lights, the taxi on/offduty light on top, the sun during sunny days... pretty much everything is amplified too much, how do I tone these down to make it 100% instead of just 99% perfect? :P

Any/all help would be appreciated ^_^

EDIT: Nevermind >.< I'm a dodo.... turned down brightness, and that seems to work just fine, lol. Thanks :P Now I'm going to go cry in a corner in shame.

EDIT#2: Nevermind again... lights still too bright even with brightness all the way down :\ I edited the police lights lines in vissettings, that helped a bit with those, but still wondering (probably timecyc file..) where to edit all the lighting effects.

What I need you to do is go into the visualsettings file and tell me the

car.defaultlight.emissive.on

number so it might be

car.defaultlight.emissive.on 600 or something like that

About the street lights at night, unfortunately, that cannot be modified, without messing up the night time, however the taxi lights and other emmisive lights (like the always on lights on the bus / patriot), can be reduced down with the car defaultlight emmisive value. The problem with this is, if you reduce that, you'll lose the awesome bright looking ELS lights. If you don't use ELS lights, you can move it down to 7 instead of 30, however if you use ELS, I suggest using it on 50 or 30 (depending on your taste), and modifying the taxi.wtd's texture by reducing the brightness of the taxi sign. (simple paint.net texture edit will do)
