This has happened far too many times before. And its struck again, but this time it hasn't gone away.

 

Just recently started playing LSPDFR again after a solid 2 years. I got all main stuff in, like LSPDFR+, Arrest Manager, Cars, etc, you know the deal. However, ELS wasn't working, so, I went and reinstalled it and also fixed a callout issue. Decided I mine as well clear up my downloads folder full of the scripts I had already installed and restarted computer. Little did I know, after restarting I couldn't play LSPDFR with RPH.

 

GTA V launched fine. However launching RPH by itself, and launching it after loading base game caused it to momentarily freeze and then ultimately crash.

I really cannot see the issue. GTA V along with Rage and LSPDFR had been working fine. I suspected it may be the anti virus, (Avast) but I added the exception again and nothing worked. I've also seen quite a few people, actually a lot with the same issue. Threads on here, Steam, Reddit, and YouTube videos but after a good hour I unfortunately cannot resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, the latest RPH and overwrote the files. Should I remove all of the RPH files and install a fresh one?

Nah, just leave them. Do you have a mods folder?

First off, sorry for late response. 

And yes, I have everything. It was working so well and all I did was restart my computer and so Rage Plugin Hook hit the fan.

 

Thanks for help, I am going to fiddle with it for a bit more and then if that does not resolve the issue I will probably delete everything except for the base game files and then just extract everything back in and set it up.

 

Edit: It's fixed, i did absolutely nothing except for wait a few days to re-launch and it's magically fixed. I am honestly dumbfounded right now.
