So, I am new to developing with ELS vehicles and I would love to have a few questions answered.

 

First, if I have a light bar already taking up extra's 1-4 but I want to add something else to the primary slot, how do I do that?

Second, my takedown lights work on the lightbar, but the corona is facing the ground, how do I fix that?

 

I hope these are simple questions and fixes.

The extra 11 dummy has to be right behind the emissives texture. The light comes out of wherever the dummy is. 

 

The Primary lights are 1-4, warning lights are 5&6 and secondary (traffic advisor) is 7-9. If you want extra patterns in the bar itself you could have 5&6 also on the lightbar. But that's the way the els program itself is. 

 

Or if you mean something like adding rambar lights to the lightbar ends, those emissives need to be attached to the lightbar. Either dismiss the compound on the lightbar, attach and re-LOD, or LOD the new emissives and attach them to the already existing compound

Okay thank you. I'm still stuck up on the extras. Like some vehicles are Christmas trees but still have traffic advisor, etc. If I want to add side runners to the primary slot so they are only activated on stage 3, but already have a light bar component using extra 1-4 how can I still add the side-runners?

I would use extras 5&6 for suderunners. So they would be off on stage 2 but activate on 3
