Fake Cop Teen

Featured Replies

When I first watched this, I was cringing the entire time.  The second time I was just laughing at how stupid this kid is.  Dude, you had a security gig and I assume a weapon's license...you had the potential to become an actual cop!

Videos like this show just how gullible people are.   I'm unable to identify what kind of car he is driving, but it does not look like any police model.  The fact that this person was being pulled over by a car with red and white lights, as opposed to red and blues, which is what that area uses, should've been the first red flag.  The second red flag, which should've been a huge slap in the fucking face of "this dude isn't legit" is that he has NO duty belt, NO radio, NO weapon, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING aside from a badge.  He's wearing jeans for fucks sake!  Very rarely do cops who conduct traffic stops wear jeans, and even if they do, they have all their other police gear on that clearly show they are a cop.

Civilians don't pay attention what so ever.  If they did, they would be able to identify a fake cop, or at the very least, know they have the right to call 911 and verify a cop is behind them or not.  Tell me, how many episodes of Cops, LivePD, Worlds Scariest Police Chases, etc did you see a patrol officer just rocking civilian clothes and doing traffic stops?  People like this play cop because they know people will pull over. It just blows my mind that people are so clueless.

The amount of times he lied is incredible.    You could hear in the cops voice he wasn't buying it.

Brendon-  I was just heading over to the courthouse.

Cop-  Courthouse?  For what?

Yeah, going to the courthouse at 6:30pm.

Cop-  Can I talk to you for a minute?

Brendon-  Me?

Well, you're the only one standing there. lol

Bunch of funny comments on youtube also on this.  One was, why did you have to direct him when he was at the station?  He was there for this mornings briefing.  lol

I have seen this before. I just love how the cop is just sitting there for a bit and casually strolls up to him and the guy doesn't even notice until he says something. That has got to be the funniest thing ever.

I'm guessing it might be being caught in the heat of the moment.  Of course at some point you should probably be like "Wait a minute, somethings not right here".   When you get pulled and you know you did something wrong, you're thinking I'm busted, how am I going to pay for this, what's going to happen, you might not notice that there are 2 reds blinking and that's not LEO or what position the lightbar is at in the vehicle if it's legal or not, I don't think most civilians will know.  Like you said, lack of uniform, duty belt should be a give  away.  And as young as he looked!  But when my cousin graduated the CHP academy in 2008 I think he was 26-27 y.o., looked early 20's and was stick boy.  Looked like he barely fit in his tan uniform.  But he was in uniform doing traffic stops.  He's bulked up now.  Also people see police in blue jeans like the gang units or I think some undercovers so people might not put 2and2 together and think that you will NEVER see them do a traffic stop.  People who watch a lot of TV/movies might see that but not think "is that real life or Hollywood spin?"  Not everyone gets fooled.  A couple months ago I saw on youtube a Rescue 911 episode.  Remember that show?  Well if you're old enough you do, lol. There was a man who was trying to pull over a woman and the lady knew better.  Turned the tables on the guy, started following him and called 911.

lol, yeah.  When the Officer tell Brenden to stay there as he runs Brenden's info, Brenden says something about going back to the driver to give the documents back and let the driver go.  Wonder how that short conversation went?  Here's your documents back.  I'm going to let you go because I just got busted by a real cop so have a good one.

I would have loved to see that conversation. Sadly, the video I showed had the car there one minute and gone the next. I was sad that I didn't get to see the real cops interaction with them.
