[SOLVED]Heepadjuster Freezes LSPDFR 0.4.4

Hello!

Recently I installed a heepadjuster.asi, what this does is it adjust the original GTA V memory limit and force the game to use more memory, which can improve game performance when running LSPDFR.

But I've noticed that the only issue is, every time I go on duty at any police stations, as soon as I press "go on duty," the game freezes for unknown reasons. If I remove the heepadjuster LSPDFR won't freeze when go on duty. But the game runs fine with the heepadjuster when LSPDFR wasn't activated.

So I'm not quiet sure why this happens when go on duty, it's really strange. By the way my pc is good enough to handle LSPDFR.

Thanks in advance!

Could you elaborate a bit on what you mean when you say the game freezes? Does the application itself stop responding?

Yes. So with the heepadjuster installed, when go to police station and select "go on duty," I can see the circle on the right corner start spinning but after like 5 seconds the entire game freezes; the application would load for like 5 seconds then stopped with a frozen screen. I'll be stuck on the "go on duty" page with my character on the right side and the lspdfr menu on the left side. I can't tab out either(alt+tab) so I'll have to force turn off my pc...

I'm using the one made by "Dilapidated" on GTA 5 mods.

Update:

Problem solved. Turns out it was "officer status plugin" causing the issue.

Thank you for looking into this.

Well still, the heeperadjuster is conflict with LSPDFR.

Game runs fine until go to station and go-on duty, now it would freeze a couple seconds then crashes to desktop.

Without using heeperadjuster I could easily run out of memory which also results in a game crash, because the vanilla GTA V memory only has 462.

A lot of people are using the heap adjuster and are having no issues, so I am suspecting something else as the root cause that is amplified here. Have you tried disabling your mods folder, if any?

I've noticed some of the asi loaders such as heepadjuster, PLD will cause LSPDFR to crash without using asi supporter. But some asi loaders won't, such as brakelights.asi

I think it's the compatibility issue between asi loaders and the rage plugin hook.
