so i thought i was so smart. instead of waiting for the scripthook update i was gonna revert my game version back to 1737.0 and have everything working fine... NOPE. the fucking launcher just turns off. loads for a second then nothing. no error message or anything just off. why do they do this to us?

No, although this fix did by pass the new launcher and launch the game THROUGH STEAM, but since you did not start the game through RAGE, non of the mods will hook.At least that's what happened to me. I mean he didn't say anything about RAGE, and if you did what he said blocked up GTA V on the firewall, and try to start the game through RAGE and it will ask you if you want to unblock gtav.exe and we have to say no or otherwise it will just start the game through the new launcher and overwrite whatever you downloaded with the updated files and sent you straight back to where you started. So, I choose keep the gtav.exe blocked and RAGE pop a message saying the current game version is not supported then it shuts the game down itself.

I tried that, but it crashes GTA (not RPH at least).

 

The only way that would work is by running RPH before hitting "play offline" in the old Social Club Launcher. In other words - at about the same time.

 

I can confirm it does work with reverted version.  These are the files I manually backed up and everything is working for me.

it works until i try to start my lspdfr thend lspdfr crashes !!! and mine is not a reverted game its a brand new game with nothing in the game !!!
