I know almost nothing about computer specs etc.. I was wondering what would be a good computer to run GTA IV on, with this mod amongst others of course.

Please please dont buy a Laptop for gaming.You wont have fun while playing I made that mistake also.Now I am back to my desktop PC and I am happy

No don't use laptop for gaming, ya sure you think you can take it around and play, you can't you need to have to have it plugged in all the time. Also that laptop isn't made to last or to play games.

No, it looks like you have no idea what you are looking for let me help you. PM me a price range you want to stay under and I will find/build a computer for you that you can buy..........

If possible, you want a custom built desktop. That way you get more for your money and can build an ideal computer.
