Low FPS in city

Featured Replies

When I drive in the city I get 50-55 fps and out of the city I get 70-80 fps. How do I fix that? Is there maybe a way to low the population/traffic density?

This is very common when playing LSPDFR. Plugins and mods will affect your FPS.  There isn't too much you can do to fix it (in my understanding anyways).   And if you are getting 50 to 55 fps in the city that's pretty good. I too get between 43 to 55 in the city and 60 to 70 in Blaine County. I just turn off my FPS counter and have fun playing LSPDFR.

You can always adjust your graphics settings from within the game. Additionally you can use a custom gameconfig.xml file to modify the population/traffic density. What's the specs on your PC?

It's only common if your machine can't handle GTA V. If you have a decent machine and you still experience FPS drops, your mods/plugins may be incorrectly installed or your graphics settings may be misconfigured.

Those PC specs should be more than enough to run GTA smoothly.
