Does anybody knows about this?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, as you may know and many people out there i still have problems with 1070, but that's another point, i got a question, so if you could tell me on this i will be very grateful.

My question is, i have played EFLC but not too much like i do on IV, so i decided to move and play on TBOGT, does anybody knows if in that game i still have the same traffic? I mean, all the cars, the same cars appearing (i know there's about 1 or 2 extra police cars and a swat tank), because when i look inside SparkIV i see less cars than GTA IV. Does anybody knows anything about it? And also i wanna know if i can play LCPDFR as usual and if i can use the 1070 scripthook so i can load most of my mods.

Thanks again guys, hope u can help me on this one and have a nice day ;)

TBOGT uses vehicles from both GTA IV and a special tbogt/ folder. Any vehicles found in GTA IV are located in *eflc root*/pc/models/cdimages/vehicles.img, while new TBOGT-only vehicles are in tbogt/pc/models/cdimages/vehicles.img. This isn't just for vehicles; the way it works is that TBOGT-specific stuff goes in tbogt/, but anything that is shared with GTA IV goes in the standard files. In some cases, a resource will be in both folders (e.g. m_y_cop is in both the standard componentpeds.img and the tbogt componentpeds.img); in this case, the one in the tbogt folder takes precedence (the cop in the tbogt folder is a new cop model with different heads; in contrast, since m_y_strooper is the same in EFLC and IV, it is not found in the tbogt folder, and since m_y_ciadlc02 isn't in IV at all, it is only in the tbogt folder).

Also, you use the same scripthooks as for IV. If you use SNT, you need to use their TBOGT trainer for EFLC (it's in the same download as the regular SNT).

Oh ok! That's a great explanation. So now i know that EFLC is using the scripthook provided in LCPDFR RC2, that's ok, so if i want to install cars, i use the vehicles.img on eflc root folder, and it will work on EFLC, right? and if i want a car in TBoGT, i have to install it on vehicles.img from TBoGT folder? (i.e. the police 3 and 4?) The thing i just didn't understand is the part of replacing the cop models on TBoGT, those files (componentpeds and pedprops) are located on the TBOGT folder or EFLC root folder? I'm sorry if my questions are silly, it's just that i've never played around with the files on EFLC like i do on IV, i appreciate your help guys.

Someone have experienced the missing textures issue on that game?

I ask because that's the reason i think of moving out of IV

Correct. As for your question, m_y_cop is located in the TBOGT folder, as is m_y_ciadlc2 (the young FBI guy with vest/raid jacket). All of the other cops are in the EFLC root.

Oh that's ok bro, so if i want a new police model on TBoGT (wich is replacing m_y_cop) i will find it on the TBoGT folder. And for replacing the other police guys just gonna do it on the EFLC root folder, ok i think i got it bro ;) And what about the missing textures? Is that issue present on it?
