Hi guys,

 

I haven't played in a few months and just picked it back up (had to update a few things in the process) and now parts of the map are "lost" - I can still drive and the road still appears in the mini-map, but there's no textures or visual indication of the road or nearby scenery objects.  This only seems to affect parts of the City of LS, I haven't noticed it anywhere in the County area.  I've attached a screenshot for reference.

 

Anyone else having similar problems or know how to fix it?

I tried going to gtav/lspdfr then clicked on the lspdfr.ini and set this "Main.PreloadAllModels = true" to false

 

it reduces the texture loss since it doesn't load the cars first. as you can see it says "preloadallmodels" and the models are the cars.

 

but you will still have texture loss for like 0.1 miliseconds then it dissapears

 

i recommend setting your distance scaling to maximum or what value you can do

 

because if you do the distance scaling to maximum, there will be no texture loss at all

 

also can you help me out with finding AdvancedHookV.asi?

 

the ELS mod won't work without that
