Hello,

 

Still having issues with RPH crashing when hooking into game but it does not give an error message as to why, i have my anit-virus disabled and all files unblocked. Checked my RPH log and it does not show any errors but i did check the startup log and found a couple if someone could tell me what they mean. The log is attached to this. Also i have tried windowed mode as well as borderless pretty much any of the fixes that generally work to resolve these issues. LSPDFR ran fine on my pc with 0.3 but once I updated to 0.4 i havent been able to play it since.

Fix

1. Open the RAGEPluginHook settings menu (hold down SHIFT immediately after clicking RPH)
2. Increase 'Plugin timeout threshold' to a higher value (e.g. 30000)
3. Save and Launch

Wrong file. We need Ragepluginhook.log 

 

Install DirectX 11. You have 9, very old.

I am having some of the same issues. i have looked through the forum with no success in solving my problem. I have checked all the boxes suggested through out the fourm. i have started the game and then ran the plug in and as soon as the plug in loads it gives me the social club screen stating that the game has ended unexpectedly. Attached is my last log i have. Any suggestions?

Which antivirus do you have?

Post a screenshot of Gta main directory and lspdfr plugins folder.

@TJD0311 @mxhero61 try to rename the mods and the plugins folder to anything like --abcplugins--.

Now the game loads without mods and plugins.

here are the screen shots. all i have installed is LSPDFR

the game itself opens fine. it is just when i run the plug in, is when it crashes.

the file named RAGE PluginHook is what i have been using to launch RPH. everything that is in the directory was installed using the auto Setup when i installed LSPDFR.

Tried all the suggested from above with no luck, i disabled Windows Defender via Group Policy and have no other Anti-Virus installed

Requirements for RPH:

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6, or higher.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)

Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (x64)

 

Try to install ScriptHook, ScripthookVDotNet(2)

 

Try

1. Open the RAGEPluginHook settings menu (hold down SHIFT immediately after clicking RPH)
2. Increase 'Plugin timeout threshold' to a higher value (e.g. 60000)
3. Save and Launch

 

 

Try to start RPH as administrator.

@mxhero61 What do you mean you set it off via Group Policy? Sounds like you set an exception. Please disable the full windows defender and try again.

 

@TJD0311 First of all uncheck that option with the online vehicles. In most cases this will crash RPH 😉

 

@OfficerChris1 Like I said above check the option "Enable counter measures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer" could crash rph. To specified this, none of these option

                                in the advanced settings tab should be checked, cause they can cause problems.

@rabbit1988 No i have Windows Defender Turned completely off and have the startup disabled via Group Policy so it cant even attempt to run

@mxhero61 Just for a try, please also disable your firewall and start the game. Also click on your windows start button, type control and open the control settings. Go to System and Security/ Security and Maintenance. Then click on the arrow on the right of security to open the tab and do a screenshot. Thanks 🙂

Not sure why it says im using another provider because Defender is the only one

under antivirus you can read you are using other antivirus providers.

Well anything must be there. Windows said your system is protected so it must be something there to protect it 😉

Do you have installed other antivirus in past and deinstall it? Then your registry isn´t clean.
