GTA V crashes when I launch of Rage

Featured Replies

Your log shows that it is failing to load/launch RagePluginHook. Make sure to disable any anti-virus (especially AVG or Avast) and try running the RagePluginHook.exe as administrator.

If the above fails, launch RagePluginHook.exe and click the settings button, then under "game settings" enable "force windowed mode" and "force directx 11".

try launching GTA V normally, once you have loaded into the main menu, launch RagePluginHook.exe

I dont use anything, IK Avast is on my computer. IDK how to uninstall it tho. And I will do that rn to see if it works.

Ok, so I did that, I ran normal GTA V, It crashed. So does that mean its something with GTA and not rage?

Yes.

Take your "mods" folder out of the game files and try to launch

If your GTA V is crashing when you launch it normally then you need to verify the files and fix them. A mod you installed probably caused it. Try removing mods such as script hook.

I haven't downloaded any mods. What I am doing rn is Uninstalling my GTA V. I already have verified them, they all seem to be fine. I will keep you updated.
