Loading LSPDFR...

Hi, I'm having a problem with LSPDFR and I've tried searching for it but so far not a single thing I've found online is of someone having this problem. I might be searching the wrong thing, I dunno. I'm sorry if this is something that's been answered here before.

Basically, when I start the game using RAGE I get loaded in and in the bottom right it says "Loading LSPDFR..." And then nothing. That message just sticks around forever, as if it has never started the plugin. My install of everything is fresh. I downloaded GTA V today fresh, installed RAGE, and got the auto installer for LSPDFR 0.4.1. Nothing else has been added, and the game launches normally with RAGE. Yes, RAGE is set to load all plugins (and even attempted with manually checking the LSPDFR box instead). The game plays fine. The RAGE console (F4) works fine, but in the bottom right of my screen is just "Loading LSPDFR..." which never changes or disappears. I left it running for about two hours just so I could be crystal clear when I say that it never goes away lol.

If anyone has any advice on this it'd be appreciated. Can't wait to hop into LSPDFR 😁

First of all make a copy of the original GTAV folder and set it aside so you don't have to reinstall everytime. Second I suggest starting again with a clean copy. Install only LSPDFR and then add the latest RPH over it and see how that goes.

I had a similar problem and it was that I didn't notice it had stopped loading LSPDFR because the plugin had crashed but the little message in the corner continued displaying. When I changed the plugin threshold in RPH up to 60000 I stopped having that problem. You could also wait and only load LSPDFR through the console once the game world has loaded

Try this first.

Hi, the issue is solved now but it still has me scratching my head a bit.

One of the times I tried booting it all up when testing different things it started in windowed mode for some reason and worked fine. I put it back in fullscreen, played for a few minutes and then closed it to see if it would boot again, and it didn't.

Long story short, RAGE wasn't even trying to actually start LSPDFR if it was running in fullscreen. Borderless windowed has solved the issue perfectly. I have no clue why this was happening, but at least it's stopped.
