Heavy FPS drop with lspfr 0.4.1

Featured Replies

With lspdfr 0.3 I had around 60-70 fps. Now with 0.4.1 I have max 50 fps and it's dropping to 35-40 in the city.

Plugins I have:

-EUP

-LSPDFR

-COP HOLSTER

-CALLOUTS & SCRIPTS (Computer+, PoliceSmartRadio, StopThePed, Airport callouts, Assorted callouts, AttemptedCrimeCallouts, TaccoHighwayCallouts, Traffic Policer)

The settings are on high and very high

And I have mods folder that is not too loaded.

(The pc isn't the problem I get 100 fps+ off duty with very high/ultra settings)

there's a bottleneck on RPH hooking process to GTA V core which causes performance loss.

mainly because RPH has to fight for the anti-modding mechanism in GTA V game engine.

the performance loss (FPS drops) is inevitable because the more you have plugins, the more hooks needed to GTA V core which would slow down the rendering process.

but you can still improve the FPS by turning down a few graphic settings to one notch down (e.g from very-high to high), thus will increase your base FPS.

I've noticed that NaturalVision causes alot of FPS drop on my system when running LSPDFR. If you have a visual mod installed it may  be increasing your drop.

i7 8700K
GTX1080
32GB Crucial
Asus Z370A MB
Watercooled and OC'd

Still have drops with settings set mildly using NV.

I suggest downloading visual mods from my thread and see how it effects your performance. I got frames back from applying them (there's no ENB).

Thanks for that, I'll try it!

Without LSPDFR installed and when I launch my game from steam, I get 95+ FPS with my all my settings on Vry High Ultra, but when I launch from Rage with LSPDFR and all my scripts and plug ins, my FPS Drops. I lowered my settings to High and Very High and even then I still get areas of studering. Not as much though.

Everyone who experiences the FPS  issue with LSPDFR when on duty , then make sure you run the entire game from SSD or fast HDD ... I personally just tried to install GTA5+RPH onto an external SSD where I even managed to install the Social Club with it and at the first launch it loaded perfectly. As the RPH proofed its working , then I gone back to windows added ELS and some new cars plus installed LSPDFR 4.6 manually (no callouts yet) and launched the game via RPH again. As the game loads smoothly I load  LSPDFR via console and going to a station for the  first duty to set my character.I made sure the graphic settings were boosted  to the highest  possible at 1920x1080 , so far the game still at 60FPS(FPS locked with V-sync) , finally pursuit callout came trough so I rushed towards the suspect and called for heavy back up in order to seek for any FPS drops.at least 10 cars arrived  in my aid and the game never left 59-61 values on the FPS counter. Also tried to go all over the county while still on duty and receiving callouts without any frame issue. Also tried to turn off V-sync to see the real values that the game is managing to operate on  and it was something between 75-115.

I hope that helps at least to some of yous as I personally been pretty annoyed of having 2060 , with 8 core 4,2  and 16GB ram and getting lags on a game from 2013.
