Post your specs.

Also i think my graphics card is 8gb...

Looks like you should be running GTA 4 without any problems... Have you got any mods?

BTW. A graphic card that has 8 GB of VRAM does not exist

8GB VRAM? I doubt that but under the graphics tab select the "auto configure" option

Sorry not 8 i ment 4 :S Uhm im running the RCMP Pack 5.0 (REL) for my cars, Trainer, els v6, Radiance mod, DAS mod, and lcpdfr .95...

Well then, I suggest to backup your mods and do a reinstall. After it, play on a clean version. If it doesn't bug out, install mods. If it bugs out, then we can try commandlining it.

BTW. A GTX 560 Ti that has 4 GB of VRAM does not exist

WOW idk then about my graphics card...-_- uhm i have reinstalle dlike 10 times... and it always does it so can we try the command line?

Ok, then create a text file called commandline.txt and paste this in:

-norestriction

-nomemrestrict

-availablevidmem 2.0

-percentvidmem 100

save and put it in GTA 4 directory. That's the commandline that works for most pepole. I, however, use something like that:

-norestriction

-availablevidmem 2.0

-memrestrict 681574400

It gives me better fps, but it may not work in your case.

There's also a program called CacheBoost, and many pepole said it fixed texture bug for them. I dunno is it free or not, but it's worth trying. Oh, and also turn off Vsync!

[offtopic]And...? Most of modern card have 1GB of VRAM. That 4GB is just plain RAM, not nearly as fast as VRAM. You also say that you have 4GB of VRAM, yet you point that you in fact have only 1.[/offtopic]

i have 8 gb of ram..4 of it is shared to the graphics...as it says Total available graphics memory 4096MB but my card has 1024MB Dedicated ram..

Ok now its taking realy long to load the game and when it crashed it says not responding....

I just said that those 4 gigs are not VRAM, and that dedicated RAM = VRAM :whistling:

Shremy, delete that commandline. I've found something that might help - http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1269228
